The other reviews are right: this shoe runs narrower than other Ghost models. I had to get a wide after wearing normal width in several other generations. But once I got this fit right, these are my favorite Ghosts in a long while. Both cushy and firm enough to feel really table, and the large lip in the back makes them easy to pull on.

In previous Ghost versions I found that a 10 Narrow was a great fit. In Ghost 17, I found that I needed to go to a 10.5 medium. Like many others, the older Ghost shoes were better for me. I could count on the size and width. I have tried to find other alternative but still find Brooks the best option.

When I first received them , they were the stiffest Ghost pair ever, I use them only at the gym so it took a few trys to get comfortable in them. I even went to our runners store in town to compare them with another identical pair. After that the are as awesome as all the ghosts Ive bought in the past.

Shoe fits a little tight over the instep. I believe this will relax once the shoes have been worn several times. Otherwise enjoy the fit and feel when walking in these shoes.

Ive purchased the Brooks Ghost running shoes several times over the years. While I am no longer a runner, I still find these are the best shoes for me - whether Im walking a few miles in the neighborhood or traveling through airports, they are my GO-TO shoes!

Not to be shallow, but these look GREAT! I got the ones that are pictured here, beyond looks, the cushioning is far better than previous Brooks. I left Brooks for Hoka last year because of the cushioning difference but you have clearly upped your game and won me back.
