I’ve worn 7wide in Ghost 14 with perfect comfort, but that same size in Ghost 17 is so narrow that I can’t even get my feet into them! Very disappointing.

Since they stopped making New Balance 840 I haven't had any luck with any shoes I've bought. Back goes these

Slips off heel. The fit is just off. The previous Ghost generations were better.

I am very disappointed in how the Ghost has changed. I have worn them for many years and the changes to the 16 and 17 models have disappointed me. The toe box is much wider and the change to the heel of the 17 area hit me in the wrong spot. It is higher and harder and causes discomfort. I will not be keeping these. I hope hope they go back to earlier designs. If it's not broke...don't fix it.

Not particularly comfortable. Not enough cushioning.

Ordered two different pairs of Brooks shoes in the same size; neither fit. This pair was too long and the toe box was extremely wide for a shoe that was supposed to be narrow. The other pair was too short. I'm disappointed, as I have worn Brooks shoes for years and have always been happy with them.

I was thrilled to see the Ghost 17 arrive. The Ghost 16 was perfect for my problem feet, but the new version has been greatly changed. Now rubs on ankle, hard feel on my feet, dimensions changed. What a disappointment and they are going back.

I can't stand these shoes. If I had not already worn them, I would be returning them. I do think you need to wear shoes a few times to get a feel for them.....I have had Brooks shoes before with no issues, so I was not prepared to not like these as much as I do. I tend to supinate out, on the outside of my foot, when running, and these shoes are not made at all for that. It feels like I am only landing on the edge of my foot. So much so that I can feel it in the outer parts of my legs aching constantly, and I think that these are the shoes that are contributing to some plantar fasciitis that I am experiencing. Now I am stuck with a pair of running shoes that I dislike and am out $130 and will need to buy another pair of shoes so out double the money. I will probably never order a pair of Brooks again because of this and most likely not from Zappos if you can't try them out for a few times wearing them.

These shoes arrived used. the souls were dark and to boxing was poor and obviously reused-

They lowered the heel-to-toe drop making the shoe flatter, which puts more pressure on ankle tendons and heel. If you have plantar fasciitis, these will likely aggravate it. Also gave me peroneal tendinitis. They’re trying to be Hoka but we would have already bought Hoka if we wanted Hoka. BRING BACK THE 12 MM DROP!!!!!

I've worn Brooks Ghost for over 10 years. Ghost 17 is very disappointing and no longer the same fit. Why change what was working and very popular? This model is certainly not an improvement over previous models. The mid-foot is narrower and made my feet fall asleep after an hour of wear. Overall, the shoe seems of poor quality. Similar reviews exist online on multiple websites from long-time Ghost wearers, all expressing significant disappointment with the fit. Brooks Ghost Designers: please return to the older fit, as in the Ghost 14.

I feel the toe box is very narrow. true to size. The narrowness bothers toes if i went up a half size wpould be too long. Colors are really nice Brooks neeeds improvements on designing toe box.

I have worn Brooks Ghost for years. My favorites were my old Ghost 13 and they have gone down since then. This version is the worst, and I have finally switched brands because they are so bad. The heel is too low. The arch is too high and in an awkward place. They are a bit long as well. I wish they would revert back to the older fit.

Been wearing Ghosts for years, some are better than others. This one was terrible. Do not size up the half step of past years. Even then I might have gone down a half step. But it hits oddly high around the ankle and heel. Not the same footbed—hit in odd places when stepping down. Skipping this round of ghosts with hopes for next year.

I've worn Brooks Ghost 15 and 16 and the fit and comfort was excellent. These Ghost 17 are not for me. Same size as before and the shoe makes my foot look very long. The toe box is narrower, the support is not neutral, and circulation around my ankle is being strangled. These are going back.

The Ghost 17 was re-designed and it is not as comfortable as previous Ghost shoes. I’ve been buying Ghost for 5+ years and they always are comfortable. The back of the heel was made higher and my socks ride down. These are going back and I’m buying the close out Ghost 16.

Worse Ghost shoes ever. Others Ghost were good.
