The Ghost 17 is narrower than the Ghost 16. I use orthotics making it difficult to fit in the shoe. It also makes it difficult to insert and remove.

These are for my husband, who hears me rave about Brooks all the time. He finally decided to try them and loves them! Says they are so much lighter than the other brands he has worn. They are primarily for casual wear, but he likes the colors, the fit, and the feel of them.

Love them! I use them for working out at the gym. Very comfortable

I have flat feet. this shoe has consistently, over many years, provided support and comfort. I am a hiker and this shoe has remained my friend, both in for comfort and style. I highly recommend it.

I LOVE the Ghost running shoes Extremely comfortable and supportive during a great run. My feet feel like they're wrapped in clouds all the time. Highly recommend these running shoes for all runners of all kinds!

Ghost is my fave running shoe and I own every version from the ghost 14 up to the current 17. I love the different colors! I size up 1/2. I usually wear a 9 to 9.5 but need a 10 for my toes and running.

Not as comfortable out of the box compared to the Ghost 15/16. Took a few workouts to break them in. Overall, still my favorite shoe and brand for my wide feet.

Been wearing Brooks for a long time and always love these shoes. My newest pair seems to be a little bit larger in fit than previous models. I always get a size 8 but these shoes just feel a bit bigger than my last pair. Otherwise, I'm very happy with them.

I wish you would have never changed what was working!! Ghost 13 & 14 were the best! A foot having to get accustomed to every year changes in your shoes makes the consumer look for other options/brands. Please consider bringing back what worked for so very many of us!

I love these shoes, so comfortable!

These are great shoes!! I already have 2 pair, and will likely get another. They fit fantastic. A roomy toe box, but a good fit in the heel. They are comfortable right out of the box. You can put a lot of miles on these. The sole has more than adequate support, and my back feels good. The color choices for the 17's are great, and I appreciate being able to coordinate them easily with what I wear. Well done, Brooks! The 17's are a winner.

I'm not a runner but I'm a walker and have been developing callouses on my feet. The podiatrist recommended these and they are fabulously comfortable. So glad I got them.

I really wanted to like it. Its a pretty design with beautiful colors, and I love the Ghost shoe. But they were too narrow.

These are my new favorite Ghosts! I have many Ghosts but the 17 is my new favorite because they run narrow and have more cushion than the other models. I went in the store to try these on, and I ask the sales clerk to try on a 7 1/2 which is my normal size in all other ghosts. She advised me to go down half a size as these, run, long and narrow. Im so glad I did they fit perfect. If you dont have a narrow foot, then I would consider ordering a wide.

The Ghost Max 3 worked better for me. The Ghost 17 fit well but my issue is that I roll outward at the heels on many shoes....I know, most people roll inward. The way the heel is formed on the Ghost 17 made my heels/ankles roll outward more easily. The Ghost Max 3 kept my heel/ankle straight. If you do not have this issue, you will like either shoe.

The shoes are fantastic and fit great.

I've worn the Ghost for over 5 years, always in a size 9. These seem a little long to me, the back of my heel is coming out. Bummed.

This is a very comfortable shoe. I work in Healthcare and am on my feet a lot. My feet aren't tired at the end of the day.

Cushioning is much improved.
