Very comfortable shoes for my picky feet. This is my favorite version of the Ghost so far. I also appreciate the color options and having choices that aren’t super bright or very light colors.

As standard as they come for a running shoe. No bells and whistles. Just a good solid shoe

I bought these for my mom. She loves Brooks Ghost as much as I do. She was very happy with the color. White along the base of the shoe is so hard to keep clean!

I really love these shoes. However, as they change models of the Ghost (as numbers go up), I feel like the size changes. For some reason Zappos recommended 7.5 on these. I assumed that was correct, but in checking my previous pairs, I have generally been a 7 wide. Will return these and get the half size smaller - should work! Also, as a reference - most other shoes I wear 6 to 6.5...

The Brooks Ghost 17 are narrow in the toe box compared to the Brooks Ghost 16. I wouldn’t recommend the Brooks Ghost 17 as a good walking shoe. Overall the shoe felt narrow.

Shoe fits a little tight over the instep. I believe this will relax once the shoes have been worn several times. Otherwise enjoy the fit and feel when walking in these shoes.

They feel great, like you're walking on a cloud, and they look great too.

Very comfortable foot bed and heel. Only complaint is that the laces are too short to speed lace, and I have narrow feet.

I have been wearing Ghost Brooks for many years but this pair rubs on the ankle. The area around the ankle is much stiffer material than the shoes I have purchased before. I will be returning them.

I have worn Ghosts for many years and have always worn a size 9. These size 9’s feel really big in the toe box, so much that the fabric looks loose and baggy. Also, the dark area around the base of each shoe lace, along with the dark shoe laces gives a very dark and manly look to the shoe (even with the pink trim). I will not give up on Ghosts, but this shoe was not a good choice for me.

I have been wearing the Ghost running shoe for several years. My last pair, the Ghost 16, fits well, but the Ghost 17 is more tapered and narrower in the toe. I do not understand why an athletic/running shoe would be tapered in the toe when your toes tend to spread when running or walking. Disappointing.

My narrow feet are very hard to fit. The narrow is Ghost 17 is good. However, the toe box is the exception. It's so rummy, my feet slide around in it.

Although I ordered a wide width, it was more narrow than other Brooks Ghost shoes that I have.

Love the shoe! My first brooks running shoe, and I find them super comfortable with good support. I also like the design.

Different from previous ghost shoes. Rubs ankle bone, upper is too high. Worn this brand , style for years. Disappointed

Fits perfectly and feels great while on the move, like I'm speed-walking on a bouncy cloud.

My feet have been getting wider so I went for the wide width this time and I'm glad I did. My feet have the extra room it needs to splay out after long walks. The shoes still feels a bit stiff but I'm hoping it will loosen up after some time. Have always loved Brooks' color ways. They have been my go shoes for several years now.

These brook 17 are nothing like my 15 or 16 ghosts pair. The soles are hard and much bigger not comfortable at all . I will be returning them . very difficult to put on and they are very narrow . The shoes are too firm not soft at all

I've had numerous foot surgeries and also have flat feet. Although my feet are narrow, I always order B width shoes to accommodate my prescription orthotics. I'm happy to say that the Brooks Ghost 17 fits nicely, with a good, snug-feeling heel/ankle area. I have "issues" getting a good fit but these shoes are great.

I can't stand these shoes. If I had not already worn them, I would be returning them. I do think you need to wear shoes a few times to get a feel for them.....I have had Brooks shoes before with no issues, so I was not prepared to not like these as much as I do. I tend to supinate out, on the outside of my foot, when running, and these shoes are not made at all for that. It feels like I am only landing on the edge of my foot. So much so that I can feel it in the outer parts of my legs aching constantly, and I think that these are the shoes that are contributing to some plantar fasciitis that I am experiencing. Now I am stuck with a pair of running shoes that I dislike and am out $130 and will need to buy another pair of shoes so out double the money. I will probably never order a pair of Brooks again because of this and most likely not from Zappos if you can't try them out for a few times wearing them.
