I am returning them because of my toe issues. These shoes may be good for others, but the toe issue is painful when I walk.

Nice shoe, really love the look and it feels pretty comfortable on my daily walks. However, it is definitely narrower than the Ghost 16. I purchased my usual 11 WIDE and it feels pretty tight, especially around the instep. I had to loosen the laces to the point there’s almost no lace left to tie.

Shoes fit perfectly.

Very uncomfortable. Have been wearing Brooks Ghost for years. Out of the box they looked narrow and long. The top eyestay on the front of the collar digs into front of ankle bone. These are narrow and a half size too long. I bought two pairs and both are like this. I have owned 10 previous versions of the Ghost model. If you have previously loved Ghost, these are not recommended.

I have worn Brooks Ghost Shoes for years. Ghost 17, however, runs 1/2 size short and the medium width is much narrower than prior models. Very disappointed. I will be searching for another brand.

I’ve been wearing Ghost running shoes for many years over the model changes. This is the first one where I had to change my size choice regarding width. The length remains the same but this shoe last changed enough that I needed to move up to the 4E width from the 2E. In New Balance I’ve always purchased 4E however with the Ghosts, 2E always worked great. Wide enough, but still fit comfortably, no tightness. With the 17s, the 2E was a bit too tight. I could have worn them however I think over time I would have regretted not going with the 4E so that’s the pair I kept. I did some research and it landed on going with the 4E as when running the foot will tend to swell so the slightly larger space would accomodate that. The 4Es weren’t so wide that my foot was moving around as they did on previous models in the 4E width. This info isn’t new, just corroborating what I’ve seen others report. On the “Hoka” style of this one versus the past, yeah I can see that a bit however I think they look and feel good on the foot, so continuing with this line.

Been wearing the Ghosts for years. These are the best. Great cushioning.
