The redesign of this shoe is a mistake. It has way too much foam, almost twice as much as the previous edition. If I wanted Hokas I would’ve bought Hokas. Truly disappointing.

These shoes felt good, but I felt like the back was pressing on my heel too much. If it weren't for that, I might've kept them. Ultimately, I ended up returning them.

toe started fraying almost immediately -- something with build quality or just poor design?

I am returning them because of my toe issues. These shoes may be good for others, but the toe issue is painful when I walk.

I ordered the 4E in 11, but they are not actually very wide. My Altra Lone Peaks in wide are wider as are my Topo Adventures. These shoes are also very stiff with a high stiff back that hits the Achilles.

Too narrow even on the wides. So disappointing!

This is my fourth pair of Brooks from Zappos. The previous pairs were a good fit, this seems smaller and narrower. I double-checked the size and width marked on the shoe, and it's what I ordered.

They destoryed the Ghost trying to copy everyone else. What once was a go to consistent work horse is over tweaked. Toe box too small...sizing completly different. Let me explain in simple terms. I have been running the Ghost for 10 years in an 11D. To make these work even remotely like the prior versions I need a 10.5 2E??? That makes zero sense. You feel the heel to tow drop change and my heel feels like it is sliding out a bit. Overall a terrible upgrade.

I wanted to love these but after two days of trying them inside I have to send them back. I got XWide and they are way too narrow. Very sad that such a great show company put these out.

Very uncomfortable. Have been wearing Brooks Ghost for years. Out of the box they looked narrow and long. The top eyestay on the front of the collar digs into front of ankle bone. These are narrow and a half size too long. I bought two pairs and both are like this. I have owned 10 previous versions of the Ghost model. If you have previously loved Ghost, these are not recommended.

Lowering the toe drop made the Ghost 17 painful to wear. I returned.

The shoes have this very weird cushion around the ankle. it's this pressure around the achilles area.
