My usual size 9 felt too short in these sandals. I returned and ordered a 91/2 narrow. Have not received yet but fingers crossed. The narrow width was perfect.

The fit was fine, but it didn't support my foot well. I'm 67 yo and worry about twisting my ankle in this shoe.

The sandal felt like it was half a size too small. The sandal was not comfortable so I didn't bother exchanging for a bigger size.

I have no idea how the arch support was because the twisted hard plastic material that comprised the braided uppers on these shoes was so unyielding and uncomfortable that I didn't walk 10 feet before I took them off. Your foot would be raw within a half a block.
