I usually wear 8.5/39 and 7.5 fit best in these. These are SO COMFY and nearly perfect. However I have a very low volume foot and even cinching the straps all the way tight my foot still worked its way forward, so I had to return them. But the foot best is so so comfortable and I love the way the sandal wraps your foot and is very supportive. Wish they cinched a bit tighter ;-)

A bit loose around the ankle. Shoe itself had a lot of cushion. A part of the neoprene on one shoe was painful on the top of my left foot.

These sandals are wonderfully comfortable! I usually wear a size 7.5, but I ordered a size 7 because sandals often run larger. These do not, they are true to size. I'm ok with a 7 but a 7.5 would probably have been better. The sandals wrap around the foot with soft and comfortable fabric, giving a secure foothold. The outer sole has great tracking, which makes them perfect for hiking. These sandals definitely replace a sturdy hiking shoe in the heat of the summer. I feel safe and secure hiking over rough terrain without slipping.

I ordered down a half size because of the many reviews I read that said they ran big. I also ordered my usual size in the neutral/green color, but haven't received them yet. I don't think they run long as my toes are almost over the edge of the half size down, but they are on the wide side for my feet--the straps kind of run out of velcro so they stick out a bit. However my feet are deformed by mega bunions and hammer toes, and I am maimed in the hips from surgery, so I'm not the best candidate on the jury. All of that aside, I give them five stars for flexibility in the straps. Great system! Also for secure and comfy footbed, not too squishy but not too firm. A decent heel to toe drop (I cannot stand built up flats or the negative heel thing, looking at you Chaco). Pretty good arch support. I'd love these more if they were cuter and a little more flexible, but I have learned that cute, comfortable, flexible, stable, supportive do not live together in any shoe that I can wear, or any that I can't for that matter. They are very sturdy. Great gripping soles for the river rock crowd. Grateful to Teva. I have had many pairs over the years and they are really the best. I just wish my feet weren't so much trouble.

Super comfortable and stable! It is difficult for me to find comfortable shoes due to bunions, one removed, and plantar fasciitis. I can wear these for hours and have no pain. The only complaint is when I walk the shoe makes a suction noise but I fixed it somewhat with applying powder.

I love this shoe - it is so comfortable! I am returning this shoe in my usual size. One size smaller is a much better fit for me.

These are such comfortable and supportive sandals! However, my foot slipped around in my usual size 10, especially in the heel. I ordered the next size down, and am much happier with that. Thanks, Teva (and Zappos)!

As others have commented, this ran big on me. I am normally a 40, or size 9 in most shoes, hiking and sandals. Only exception is Ecco, in which a 39 or size 8 1/2 fits great. I am returning the 9 and just ordered the 8 1/2. Will update. My foot is a very typical “B” width with a bothersome bunion on my left inside foot. The size 9 was very comfortable especially around my bunion so I have high hopes for the 8 1/2!

Sandals were comfortable from the moment I put them on. I kept them on for the next hour, that's how perfect they were!

These sandals are the most comfortable ones I’ve EVER had. They are soft, yet supportive, and nicely cushioned. It took two orders for me to get the size right for me. One size down is my perfect fit!

Great shoe, just not quite enough arch support for my flat feet. Wide enough to comfortably accommodate my large bunion. Nice thick sole, but not really soft.

Great sandals. Stable and adjustable, comfy supportive footbed. Good grip. I found them perfectly true to size in length, just too wide in the straps. I will have to add extra velcro in the heel, because the strap is made for people with wide heels, which I don't have. Otherwise, really great sandals. Thanks for the half sizes! Love Teva sandals.

The straps are way too long. I ran out of velcro in the heel. These are definitely made for people with a lot of padding. I do not have "wide" feet, so I pay a price for that by having to return an otherwise great sandal, because the straps are too long with not enough velcro to fit medium width feet. That said, they are great sandals. Lots of stability, adjustability (for wide feet), traction, look pretty good for an athletic shoe. Too bad they don't come in half sizes, because that's what fits me. So 7 is too small. 8 is too big. However, I am keeping the 8, and I will have to sew on a piece of velcro at the heel, the day before I leave for vacation. I shouldn't have to do that. I do love Teva though. I have several pairs of their sandals. They are the only brand I can wear.

Sandal overall was too big. Also the color was not very appealing.

I have very thin feet, with metal and screws in 1 foot so finding comfort and fit is difficult. I have a pair of these sandals in the red color and they fit great, nice support and the neoprene under the straps is wonderful-I can wear them for hours. The tan pair does not fit the same at all, the Velcro straps are much shorter and barely meet when fastened across the toe and instep area. I sadly am returning them and hoping for perhaps new colors and consistent fit next season. I so appreciate Zappos patience in allowing me to order/return frequently as I try to find tolerable shoes!
