Fit was just right and shoe is cute. But this suede shoe was balding at the toe, right out of the box! It was lightly shiny all around the front edge of the toe. It made me wonder if the shoes were slightly worn and then returned. It's a shame because the shoe was cute and comfy otherwise. Maybe a material other than suede would be good but I'm in the hunt for suede.

A stylish shoe that comfortably fits my wide feet with toe wiggle room?!? I can’t tell you how many shoes I’ve optimistically bought and disappointingly returned. I always have to reassure my aghast husband, “No, I’m not buying eight, if I’m lucky, one will fit!” These hit my arch in just the right spot. Elastic gores on both sides make them easy to slip into. And the padded collar feels so comfy. I bought the black leather, so I don’t have any of the balding suede issues voiced by others. Anyway, I’m thrilled! Now onto returning the others…

Both the 7N and the 7.5N slipped on my heel. Sad to have to return both.

Cobb Hill are usually stylish, comfortable shoes, and this one was no exception although the heel, in the Wide width, was wide enough (while toe box fit well) that I'd probably have to pad with socks and an insert. But the red suede, though absolutely beautiful, was worn to shininess along the toes. That is, the suede was rubbed off. Not sure if they'd been worn, it was a manufacturing error, or it's meant to be that way, but they're going back. Disappointed, but will try another color.

Overall, this is a nice shoe, but it doesn’t fit my foot. In the past, Cobb Hill shoes always fit me. With this shoe, size 10w, the heel is too wide..the rest of the shoe is fine.
