Very comfortable as soon as I put them on! I thought my Hokas and Altras were comfortable, but the extra space and cushioning in these shoes was great for my wonky, bunioned feet. I wear an 11 W which can be difficult to find. Looking down at the shoes they look big, but from the side and to others they look just fine. I mean, I do have 11W feet so they're not going to look petite! The provided (but optional) additional arch support and inserts were nice to experiment with, but I ended up preferring them the way they came. I was having some uncomfortable pressure at the top of my foot, but after loosening the laces a bit that got so much better. LOVE the hands free feature! Sure I can bend over and tie shoes, but it's soooo nice to be able to take them on and off so quickly and easily. This is my second pair of Orthofeet and both are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.

The bottom cushioning was wonderful. But the top of the shoes squeezed my foot so tight it was very uncomfortable.

Extremely comfortable and supportive - even comes with additional arch support inserts if needed. I have bunions and arthritic feet and these worked for me!

I really wanted to like these shoes but the toe box is just a little too small. I felt my small toe was at the edge of the shoe. However, if I purchased the wide, they would not fit my narrow heels.

I love these shoes - they're among the most comfortable shoes I have. I have a short but wide foot, and an arthritic joint in one foot, so it's hard to find comfortable shoes. These shoes are my new favorites!

This is a great shoe, very comfy and supportive. I was looking for something that was more casual, less athletic, for running errands.

These shoes were so comfortable when I first and These shoes seemed so comfortable when I put them on and wore them around the house for a few minutes. Thought I loved them and ran out to do errands. 45 minutes into my trip I felt pain in my bunion. Took shoes off and found a very red and irritated bunion. I ordered them because the description said wide toe area. It’s stretchy fabric so the irritation is not noticeable immediately. If you have bunions I would definitely not buy these.

I needed some new kicks and was excited to see that Orthofeet carries my size! I ordered the Nira Orthofeet in Light Grey and they’ve been fantastic. I’ve been wearing them around work and they’re super comfortable — which will be a lifesaver once the busy retail Christmas season hits. Highly recommend! Plus, as always, Zappos delivered quickly and reliably.

I was skeptical as this wasn't a 'major' brand I had bought before. It came with multiple pieces for arch adjustment, but I just put in my personal orthotic. I have been pleasantly surprised at how great these shoes feel. My feet don't hurt. The shoe is substantial without being massive. I am literally going to order another pair to have it on hand for later, because finding good, black, normal-looking sneakers, that accommodate an orthotic insert, is nearly impossible. Of note, I tried another Orthofoot style and it did not work.

I am so pleased with this shoe. My toes have plenty of room, which has always been a problem for me with most shoes. My feet feel very comfortable. The soles are so supportive, they cushion my feet without feeling restrictive.

Fit perfectly first time out of the box. No break-in period needed.

I like the shoes, but they run small, I’m returning for a half size up.

The fit and size were accurate, but I didn't like the style.

Returning - Fit was weird, looked like a mans shoe and not cute on my foot. I wear a 8W but purchased the 9W, so i recommend sizing a full size up from your usual. Not my style sneaker but love the color.

My feet are already large, and these shoes made my feet look even bigger.

I love these shoes but the usual 9 that I order was a shoe size too big (long). My afo fits and the padded heal is great. I will return for a size 8.

Attractive grey color. The tongue of the shoe was attached to the shoe on the sides by the top laces which made it hard for me to put on with socks loose enough at the toe. Due to foot issues, I must have no pressure from socks on my toes. So, too bad.
