I have the Mephisto Halexia and wear them constantly as house shoes because they're incredibly comfortable. I wanted sandals with the same footbed and the Helens didn't work for me. I saw the Hariana and read mixed reviews, but thought I'd give them a try. I love these shoes! They have the same incredible comfort/support as the Halexia and my feet don't slide forward like they did with the Helens. The upper leather is thick and stiff for sure but still very comfortable for me (I don't have wide or voluminous feet). I wish they came in other great colors (give me a pink or peacock and I'll order in a heartbeat).

very uncomfterble

I have Mephistos, Harmonie style, shoes that I have worn for 2 years and really like them. I wanted a new pair and different style so tried these. Not as nice looking as Birkenstock big buckle, but kind of close. (BTW, I find Birkenstock shoes uncomfortably hard, so I don't wear them). Anyway, back to mephisto...I like their footbeds and love my Harmonie style, but these are really uncomfortable on the top of my foot. I tried playing with buckle adjustment, but they are a no go.

These are soooo classy and comfortable!

Size 42 is *not* a size 12, despite what the product listing says.
