Love these shoes! They are super-comfortable and supportive. Plus, they look great and I appreciate that they are from a US B-Corporation.

This shoe is beautifully made, which I expected from Oboz. But it's so darn stiff and firm! Last year I tried another Katabatic that was cushy but not wide enough in the Wide width. This one is wider but feels so different, no cushioned feeling at all. The stiffness also made my heels "jump" out of the back, there was no sense of fitting to my feet.

Shoe felt too narrow in width and toe box. There also wasn't enough height in the toe box and forefoot area, and the shoe felt too hot.

I wanted to have an Oboz shoe eventually, and I thought this one would be it. But in spite of it's cushion height , very supportive structure & insoles it fits really weird. My heels were slipping like crazy. I have high arches so that part was great, but the whole shoe is just too rigid & stiff. I could barely bend my feet when walking a few steps! The ground feel is hard when you step down, not cushiony.

This shoe actually fits in my normal US and Euro sizing (8/38.5). I tried 4 other similar shoes in different brands and the sizing was all different, an Asolo pair a size 7 US would probably have fit. The toe box looks smaller than it feels as I have enough room for some foot issues. I intend to use this as an all around shoe for moderate hiking and biking when traveling where weight is a concern. This shoe has a GoreTex liner, and I have some concerns that it may be hot.
