This is a work boot with a stiff reinforced frame. It is not a walking shoe and not a running shoe. Very durable but also very heavy to wear.

I got these shoes for my Amazon delivery station position (10 hour shifts). The good thing about these are they do give (little) arch support and they break in after a couple of days but they are still uncomfortable by the end of the day. They were too big (about a half size) which allowed my foot to move a lot in the shoe. The shoes themselves are very large, bulky and heavy. They are not flexible at all and I can feel the extra weight to my legs after a while of wearing them. If you’re shopping for your Amazon job or 10 hour shifts, do yourself a favor and try the Reebok or Timberland Pro.. They are the most recommended at my job. And if you’re sketchy about if you will like your shoes, you can find some safety toe shoes at DSW that you can try on and see which are most comfortable. Zappos also has an amazing return policy that lasts for 365 days so if you don’t like your shoes after a week or two you can send them back for a full refund. Also for those wondering, I did not keep the shoes longer than my first week. Good shoes are essential if you plan to stay at your job for a while. I plan to go to DSW and try on some more shoes before I buy a new pair. Thanks for reading, good luck on your search!

Not comfortable

I ordered my normal size of 9D and my feet were slipping around when I walked. Like other reviews stated, these shoes are big! I then tried a regular 9 and an 8.5D and decided on keeping the 8.5D. I’m hoping these shoes work out because they look and feel sturdy and New Balance has always been a reliable brand for me. Fingers crossed!

very uncomfortable, I don’t know if it’s cause it felt like a size larger or the weight of the shoes but I had to get these shoes for work and they’re good for protection as if something heavy ever fell on you but comfort for standing long periods of time is a major no.

They’re not comfortable for more than 6 hours in my opinion, they’re quite heavy as well even for safety shoes. They definitely run big I typically wear a 7 or 7.5, I got a 7 in these and my feet constantly slide out of them. I would not recommend these shoes at all

This shoe fit good and was comfortable for a limited time. It got too heavy and uncomfortable, thus it's been returned.

always need a wide shoe, this one has a slight lift to the heal and that puts pressure on your toes all day and makes them sore. After a 10 hour shift was hobbling out. ALWAYS MAKE SURE TO BUY A FLAT SOLE WITH SUPPORT

I love NB for the most part. These shoe however hurt my feet. I’m not sure why.

Not comfortable for 10 hrs a day, even less extra insoles

Extremely heavy shoes that have led to ankle, knee, and hip pain. After a 10 hour shift, I'm walking pretty slow thanks to these shoes. I normally wear a size 8 to 9. I ordered a size 9 and they were a little big. I added insoles to try to help provide support, but they didn't help. I did like the amount of room in the toe area.

Their bulky and they hurt at the top

The shoe fit well, but it was so heavy so I returned it. I didn’t really like the bright colors either. The only reason I got this shoe was because it was like the only 2E comp toe shoe. It would be nice to have more variety of bigger width safety shoes for women.

Overall, the shoe looks nice and fits true to size. They seem sturdy and rugged but I returned these because they are way too heavy for me ( over 1lb per shoe ) and they hurt my feet the first time I wore them. They are not very comfortable, even with inserts.

The shoes are great for standing and walking all day.

This shoe is very big. I wear 6.5 wide but would fit 5.5 B in this shoe. The materials are of good quality but they designed this shoe like a box. Very disappointed as I love their running shoes. The fit is for someone with a larger foot.

I should of ordered 2 sizes up

I don’t like wearing them cause they hurt my feet and I have a cut on my toe from the composite. I’m very unhappy with them.

It was fitted me well but I feel discomfort after three hours .The color and size were good but it was little heavy in weight so I’m returning it .

Get good insoles to put in them. They are not comfortable. It’s like having bricks attached to the bottom of the shoes so you can’t walk right like in regular tennis shoes.

I followed the reviews saying the shoes ran small. I have wider than normal feet, so I ordered wide instead of going up a size. They were too big. I had to return them for normal width. I wear a 7 1/2, but if shoes are wide enough, I can go for a 7. To be safe, went for normal width 7 1/2.

My back was bad after walking 7 miles at work. It has taken a week to recover from it. Not like the NB shoes I have been wearing for the last 6 years.

Toe space very tight . Hard to walk in for 10 hours. Nice heaven shoe.

These shoes look huge! They look like Frankenstein shoes. Not even boot cut jeans would cover them. As for the fit. They fit bigger than I expected. I wore them all day trying to break them in and they hurt my toe to the point it is still hurting a week later. I do not recommend!
