First, have to say that these shoes look great on. Stylish, and halfway between dressier and casual. Even in slightly larger sizes, they make feet look a bit smaller. Fit was true to size. The straps are an issue. They happen to fit me properly but I have very flat, and slightly wider, feet. Someone with a very high arch might find the straps tight ... which is way better than too loose. But it is obvious that the straps will stretch with wearing and, if that is the case, not sure what I will do. These shoes are VERY heavy as another reviewer noted ... its shocking how heavy they are. This means that, if the straps are too loose, the shoe wants to fly off with each step. The foot-bed is wide/sturdy and that will help prevent the turned ankle risk that happens when top straps are loose. Arch support is not great at all (but, then, I am comparing to Memphisto, etc)... these have no arch support to speak of. These shoes arrived at my doorstep just as I was headed to the airport for a tripmto FL and, stupidly, i popped them on and wore them for the first time. Arrived at destination with large blisters on the tops of my feet... the insides of the straps are rough. They will break in but I recommend a more gradual approach! Probably sounds like I don't like these shoes but I really do like them.. super cute and reasonably comfortable for low-walking trips.

Fit is true to size -- sometimes I have to get a wide in a Clark but did not need to with these. Style is beautiful and leather is nice. I purchased the black and also purchased the gold/cream.

I bought these with wearing to work for a casual office environment in mind. I have many foot and leg issues and need all my shoes to be comfortable and sturdy. Flip flops or any shoe that "slaps" against the foot is a no-no for work. These seemed like they would fit the bill and I ordered my regular 8.5W. My foot is actually just a little wider than M or C, so I was surprised at how narrow the bands are on these. The length was too long too, so I can't go up a size to accommodate the width. Moreover, the straps have a rough leather texture that I can tell will require a painful breaking in and I just don't put up with that anymore. Altogether the wrong shoe for me and I'm sending back. I'll stick with Vionic or a FitFlop slide. It's too bad because I like the woven design on these and they are much cheaper, but they don't work. Thanks, Zappos!

These shoes are very comfortable with a nice soft walk, but they are toooooo heavy. If the bottom was cork and not rubber, they’d be perfect. Sending them back as they are foot weights!!

Loved the colour and style of theses sandals, but the arch hit my foot wrong and it was uncomfortable. It’s a pity, because I really liked them otherwise.

Perfect neutral metallic colors for summer. The platform is not too high and it's very easy to walk in. Looks great with white jeans!

I wanted to like these but they are unusually heavy and the arch support isn’t there.

Starting with the good. They look as pictured and the blue is really nice. I ordered the wide and it didn’t have much room. The straps don’t have much give and fit like a B width. Hurt my feet out of the box. Wanted them to work but comfort is most important for me.

These are cute and have a nice squishy footbed but they are too heavy, which makes it feel like my feet are lugging them around by the straps.
