I never find boots that are perfect and fit my calves which are 16" around at their widest. I wear 7.5 and these are true to size. I'm 5'3 with pretty short calves and these go nearly to my knee-- which I like because they make my legs look longer. They stay pulled up and I don't have to adjust them much at all. Heel is comfortable and a perfect height for being on my feet at work most of the day. The suede is high quality and will hold up-- although, as with all suede, I'll treat before wearing them on wet days. These are absolutely perfect for what I wanted.

These are beautiful boots and just what my daughter wanted. Sadly at under 5 foot 3", the shaft on these boots was just too tall. I had hoped because the leather was not stiff, that they would work, but they did not. **Lucky Brand - consider making boots for petite wearers. A wide-calf petite would have been perfection!

Great boots, soft lightweight leather, beautiful taupe color. So happy with this purchase. Bought the extra extra wide calf but returned for the extra wide and they are perfect.
