I bought these for my 16 Y/O daughter and she loves them. She says they are very comfortable.

I bought these for my daughter and she loves them! They are beautiful in person and are so stylish at a great price. She wears a 7 so that's what I ordered and she said they are a little snug but thinks they will loosen as she wears them. Very high quality at an affordable price!

These are adorable boots and our daughter loved them. She is normally a size 10 so we ordered UK8 and they were a size too small.

The color I got is cherry arcadia which is black cherry and tip of of shoe does show more of its red its awesome! this is more of glossy finish so the leather is stiff like the smooth leather line and right away I've thought of the break in period. I do have narrow/medium foot but wider toes so this shoe was perfect since its a 1460W (for women), that fits like a glove on the foot area and toe area still wide enough for a good fit. No blisters behind the ankle but there is the tightness on top where the tongue starts of its folding area. FYI I use thin dressy nylon socks, not thick cotton socks that eased the comfort of break in.

Good looking boot just ran a bit large for my wife. She normally takes a size 6 in tennis shoes but this ran about a whole size larger. I would buy again just the size smaller.

I have been wearing Docs since the 80s and they are excellent shows. I have one pair of boots that has almost lasted 20 years. This pair is very cute but I would have like them much better in leather. The material feels like canvas and is a bit tight and has a seam on the top of the boot that is rubbing badly on the top of my foot but I am going to assume that after I wear them a while they will break in like most leather Docs do. Regardless of the seam, the design is so cute that I'm happy with the boots. Seriously, they match so many outfits and look tough while still having the flowery flair. If you plan on wearing thick socks just size up!

what a great boot!! However - they were just too big (hence making my size 9 foot look even bigger than normal!!) Going to try to size down and see if that works.

I'm a women's size US 8W, and I ordered the black nappa leather boots in a size UK 6/women's US 8. When I first put them on, I felt a lot of pressure on my instep. I have high arches as well as wide feet, so I was sure that these boots were just not for me. I submitted a return request, printed out my shipping label, taped up the box, and then had a moment of self-doubt. I put these back on my feet, pain and all, and tightly laced up my boots to the top. Lacing it tightly against my ankle took off a lot of the pressure from the tops of my feet, making them way more bearable until they break in! I'm so glad I tried them on a second time. The women's 1460's are much slimmer fit than my last pair of Docs. I had a pair of unisex 1460's (also size UK 6/women's US 8) for five years, and I wore them until they fell apart - tread on the soles worn smooth, holes and scuffs all over the leather. I walk a lot, and I punish all of my shoes. I thought the unisex 1460's looked huge and clownish on my already wide feet, but they were supportive and roomy, so I decided to keep them. This time around, I was ready to try something a bit more sophisticated. The fit of the women's 1460's boots is definitely way slimmer, and I don't have the wiggle room to add an insole for arch support just yet. That said, I love the style and I can't wait to break them in fully. I can already tell the nappa leather in these boots is softer and more forgiving than the smooth leather on the unisex 1460's. Since I plan on being kinder to this pair of boots than my last, I just ordered the Wonder Balsam to prevent the kind of cracking I got in the smooth leather of the unisex 1460's. If you have a wide foot or high arches, don't fret! Just lace these all the way up, wear thick socks, and power through the break-in period. You can do it! It's so worth it!

Love these Doc Martens. A little stiff to start but they are breaking in. I usually wear an 8 1/2 but ordered an 8 which fit fine. Love the purple color - I've received a ton of compliments!

From what I have heard about docs I was a little freaked out about the break in period. Which, is why I ordered the nappa leather version. They are super soft and easy to break in, took 1 day. These obviously won't last as long as the smooth leather version, but they feel great right out of the box, so that's something. I have pretty wide feet, and the width fit me perfectly. Have had some sizing issues in the past with docs, but the 8's fit great, and that is my normal size.

The 1460 W BLACK VICTORIAN FLOWERS are AMAZING!!!!!! I looked at them online forever: I put them in my cart, took them out, put them in, and shook it all about. Finally on Black Friday I took advantage of Zappos' awesome sale and bought these. I figured free returns if I didn't love them. I shouldn't have worried. These are my new favorite shoes ever. Not only did they feel comfortable right out of the box, they are gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous. If these appeal to your sense of style, do not even hesitate to purchase them. I usually wear an 8 1/2 to a 9. I ordered a 9 in these and they are perfect.

I love these boots, they are everything I thought they would be! I love docs and these by far are the coolest feminine ones out there.

Overall Great fit

These shoes are glorious and my teen self is so, so jealous of my disposable income-earning 30something self. I recommend ordering a half size up than you would wear in tennis shoes!

LOVE these boots! I'm so happy with this purchase! I have slightly wide and slightly chubby feet, so I was worried that these boots would be too narrow (since they're the narrower version of the 1460). However, they're a good fit for me, and I'm hoping to stretch them out a teeny bit more for a little more room across the the widest part of my foot. I've needed almost no break-in period -- they were comfortable right out of the box!

I bought them for my kid. The shoe is for men and women. Great and stylish boot. Came in 1 day like promised. Overall great product and service.

I bought these flowered docs for my 13 year old daughter. She loves them. She wore them all day yesterday and evening, and said they were very comfortable. They arrived with both pink and black laces.

I love my Doc Martens in red patent leather. Took some time to break them in. I love them.

One of my biggest regrets in life, besides marrying my Ex, is donating all my Docs from 1990. it makes me so sad. but lets move on and start over! Im a perfect 6.5. i ordered a 7 and it felt like a clown shoe, so i went to the 6. the Plum/purple is gorgeous but the leather is really stiff and its going to take some time to break in. I also have the Triumphs which have very supple leather and are great for motorcycle riding, but too hot for Santa Monica, bc they are flannel lined. I see now that they have a snakeskin pattern available….. my credit card is in danger Thank you Zappos for your patience on all my purchase and returns. love you!

Awesome shoes! My only complaint is that the color is more brown with a little reddish glimmer, not "Cherry" or whatever color Zappos indicates. I thought they'd be cherry red with a brownish tint, but they're more brown than red. Tip: Order half a size larger, as they're snug and narrow (medium width is the default). I'm usually an 8 (U.S. women's), sometimes 8.5, but I ordered a 9 in these and it's just right.

I have been searching for a pair of these in my size for a LONG time! Was so happy when they arrived. So comfy after a little wearing in and so, so pretty!

I am normally a 6½ and tried on both 6 and 7. They both fit with room in the toe area but the 7 was quite roomy. The 7 is noticeably larger looking, with fatter laces. Thus, I went with the 6. They are actually pretty comfortable right off the bat!

I love this color! I have been eyeing them for a while now. I wear a US size 8 and had to size down to a US size 7, mind you, I have a black pair that are really tall that are US size 8. Not sure of they run differently because of the style or what. The exchange was a breeze though and the customer service was sincere, swift, and awesome!

Love these classic boots with jeans or a cute skirt. They arrived quickly and the customer service was best in class!
