I wanted to like these, as the toe box is bigger and would accomodate my bunions and Morton's toe. I even ordered a half size up, 10.5 instead of 10, but my toes still hit the end of the toe box. It is hard to find shoes wide enough for bunions and still keep them on your feet in the heel. I just don't think that this style would work for me even in the 11, they felt too much like a slipper. Well, made and they look fine, but not for me.

The sole detached from the shoe within a year of wearing intermediately. Quality of the shoe seems poor.

This is my second pair of "barefoot" shoes. The last were Merrill and truly barefoot, which was actually a better design. I've done the research and reading and foot exercises that they recommend. I went gradually in the break in process so that my feet could get to know these shoes.. Unfortunately, I ended up with some stress fractures on their first long walk. Be careful with these types of shoes. They can actually hurt you.

So, I got a pair for my husband. Super comfortable, he loved them. But! They barely lasted 3 months. No hiking or anything crazy, just work-home. I can not believe it. Considering this is not a cheap shoe. Feels like such a waste. Won’t buy again. I also saw someone saying theirs lasted a month and a half. Very sad. I have a pair of sandals, and those are so far alive after 2 summers.

Loved the look and when I tried them on st home for 5 min they felt good. I then went on a 3-mile walk, and my feet were sore. Thought they were swollen, so waited 10 days to wear the shoes again. The plan was to walk 2 miles, but after only 1 my feet were cramping up. I ended up taking them off to get back.
This has never happened with zero-type shoes. Sadly they have to be returned.

I've been looking for a replacement to my beloved minimus shoes. These are not it. My minimus shoes are light and comfortable. These feel clunky. The soles are oddly stiff and thick feeling for barefoot shoes. Definitely felt the shoes and had to adjust my gait for them. The top of the shoe bent into my foot at the bottom of the laces. Shockingly uncomfortable.

I bought this shoe because the desert sand was getting so hot, I was getting blisters between my toes running in Five Fingers, and I needed a temporary summer solution while still wearing a minimalist shoe. The Prio toe box was a perfect fit, lots of room for natural, free toe function. Nothing else worked, however. The heel was too wide, and the lacing system that supposedly allowed one to adjust the heel fit was stiff, unwieldy, and ineffective, creating pressure on top of my foot (and I do not have a high arch). I felt the upper of the shoe with every step. The sole was like a plastic pancake with a couple of hinges. I didn’t experience anything like the barefoot sensation of Five Fingers. I didn’t want arch support, but this shoe felt like the worst of both worlds—no cushioning and yet no contact with anything but the shoe, either. Like a very uncomfortable bedroom slipper. Returned.

Size was too small. Not really a shoe. Purchased two sizes. Neither fit well. These are almost socks. Purchased a pair of Whittin shoes on Amazon and they are amazing and like 40 bucks. Those are shies ans perfect. Would NOT recommend Xero shoes.

I like zero lift shoes. This pair or brand just doesn't work. I felt every pebble under my heel. After 3 miles, my left heel was in real pain.

Perfect!
I've been wearing Lems for years for their zero-drop, wide toe box, but still had some complaints. My feet were always hot (indoors) even in their nylon canvas shoes, I needed to order a size too big to get them wide enough. A coworker has been really happy with her Xeros, so I decided to give them a try -- maybe never going back. I wore these to work today, 10.5 hours, mostly on my feet, zero complaints. I *actually* didn't feel like I needed to take them off when I got home. The upper is comfy, no rubbing, no irritating spots. My feet were not hot at all. They are actually zero-drop, not just very close to zero-drop -- much better for posture for my bad low back and knees. They are exactly the right width, including through the arch not just the toebox. And the sole has some stick to it like you would expect from a sneaker. Oh, and the color is a really great purple -- better, richer color than the picture but not too loud. I wear a 6.5 and this was perfect. My toes do come right to the end of the shoe with just the right amount of gap and no pinching.
Very pleased with the purchase and will probably buy their hiker for fall and chores.

These shoes seemed awesome - I needed them to be light, with a super-squishy foot bed (did not care about arch support) - which they are, out of the box. However, after walking for ONE DAY, the foot bed has completely flattened to a thin, non-squishy layer. Ridiculous.

I'm normally a 5.5 in sneakers but that size was too short for my toes. The toe box is nice a wide. I just need to go a half size up to a 6.

These initially felt comfortable. I walked around inside then kept them on while in my office for a couple of hours. Not good. There is a hard piece of plastic/rubber you can see on the external instep. Just sitting then getting up, it felt like my instep was bruised. These have good reviews but they may not work. Give yourself a long enough try-on time and include just sitting. Hope they work for you because they are very light.

I really wanted to love these shoes hoping this might be a healthy option for my feet. This particular shoe sits at a weird spot on my ankle and was very uncomfortable. The shoe laces were too short to actually use all the holes in the shoes and tie them. I tried walking around in the house with them and one of my heels immediately started to hurt, when it wasn't hurting to walk barefoot. These were just not a good fit for me although they may work for someone else

I would like a pair of shoes with a larger toe box, so that’s why I bought these. I got a plastic pair of shoes made in China that click when you walk on the hard plastic soles. So if you are looking for plastic shows from China, that make a lot of noise when you walk in them, get a pair of these!

These shoes have no cushioning, so it feels like you are walking directly on the ground. Not at all comfortable for me.

Ordered these in a 10.5. I wear a 10.5 in Altra running shoes. Both these shoes and Altra have a wide toe box. These shoes were very small. I like the light weight and the minimal style but there was no support at all, even for casual daily wear. I found the heel collar to be quite bulky, made the shoe look out of balance.

Ive tried to like them, just not working for me. I even tried the hiking boots in 3 sizes and couldnt find one to feel right. My feet are so much happier without shoes so I had high hopes for them. I wear a 9-ish but my foot doesnt take up the volume that is needed for the shoe. It feels like a need a thick layer of insole so its not so sloppy to wear.

I loved the idea of a “bare foot” simulating shoe. My fiancé and I watched the company’s video which claims wearing these would help strengthen your arches because they provide no arch support or their own and your foot has to build up its arches (I’m paraphrasing.)
I love being barefoot, but am extremely flat footed- so I though “wow, that sounds great!”
So… loved the shoes at first, but wearing them while being on my feet for long periods of time has been NOT ok. I work in the film industry where I am on my feet for 10 hours a day and by half-way through day 5 the bones in my feet we’re KILLING me. Maybe it would be more ideal if I’d worn these in gradually increasing intervals?
Then the day after I got home and stopped wearing them one of my ankles suddenly gave out while just standing talking to someone. It was so painful I had to use a crutch for the rest of the day. I’ve been limping for 3 days now.
Bottom line: 1. I’m buying new, comfortable, arch supporting shoes.
2. I wouldn’t recommend these for people with very flat feet.
3. I wouldn’t recommend these for anyone who is on their feet for long intervals (my fiancé works with me, has the same shoes, and also had very sore heels after 5 days, although not the foot pain.)
4. Pros: they’re lightweight, nice to wear in lieu of bare feet (at shorter intervals) when bare feet isn’t practical or an option.
