These ran short. Ordering next size up. Great style and quality.

I originally purchased a half size larger in this shoe because in a "sports/active" shoe that's what I usually do. This shoe fit better in my normal size. I have a very slim foot so the narrow is a bit too wide so I added am insert. That works. Be aware that the shoes are a bit stiff out if the box. After I wore them indoors for a few days they softened and molded more to my foot. I have worn a similar style in Naturalizer brand. The Vanelli shoe is somewhat heavier than the Naturalizer. I hope they will be comfortable for all day walking while traveling. The shoes are very well made and have great style. I recommend.

I love this shoe except... First, I usually wear a 9N and wear a 9.5 in some athletic shoes. I've always thought Vaneli run small and they have a small toe box. This shoe is no exception. I read the reviews that some people said they ran large and to order your usual size. I ordered the tan shoe in 9N. It was way too short and seemed too narrow in the toes. There was no 9.5N so I ordered the 9.5M. Length felt better and toe box was roomy enough but the heel slipped too much to keep. I liked the shoe so much that I ordered the 9.5 N in the black color. The fit was better but the toe box seemed cramped. And I didn't like the black color. So I now have three shoes that I will return. I wonder if I could wear the 10N but there are none available. Fit: runs true to width but short, narrow toe box Comfort: the shoe feels really comfortable (unless the narrow toe box bothers you). The netting is open but has a translucent piece inside so it won't get particles of dirt inside and it's not scratchy. Style: the tan is super cute but to me the black was a little chunky looking. I would wear the tan with shorts or jeans, casual to a little dressy. I think the black would need a specific outfit, it definitely is a casual look and to me was not that cute.

Great looking, stylish, comfortable shoe. Not for super-hot weather, however. In San Diego it’s perfect.

I am exchanging these shoes for a half size smaller. Otherwise, they are perfect. Wonderfully stylish
