Best fitting hiking boot I’ve ever had! Just the right amount of cushion and tons of style! I’ve always had issues with ankle sprains and this boot really helps with the additional support on the lateral side.

I need wide shoes and often have a problem finding shoes that fit. Have been wearing these every day for 3 weeks and so far they have exceeded expectations -- no heel slippage and plenty of room in toe box. Wearing the same size as Asics Kayanos 2E width that I used for running. Now let's see how long they last!

I just completed a two hour hike with these boots and all I have to say is they are perfect. They have a very supportive sole while being extremely comfortable all around my feet and ankles. In addition, they are very lightweight. They are easily adjustable. The quality of construction is impeccable. I have a feeling these will last me quite a while. Thank you, Salomon!

This is my third pair of Salomon shoes/boots. I bought these for use in a shop environment - lots of standing at machines on concrete floors with 20% of time outside or in ambient temperature warehouse. Salomon has done a great job with the design of the lacing of this boot. Very to get on and off which I appreciate. The comfort is better than average. I would certainly recommend these shoes.

I twisted my ankle 5 months ago while taking my kayak out of my truck, since then my ankle hasn't been the same, this shoe gives my ankle the support it needs while also being light and durable. This shoe is comfortable, has good grip, is skinny which is good if you love hiking like I do, and waterproof. All these features make this a 5 star boot for me.

I ordered these just before heading to Utah. I put 40 miles on in the mountains and loved them. Straight out of the box and up the mountain! I use them almost everyday at work too.

A little hard to break in if your not used to user high top shoes but wore them a few days leading up to the hike helped a lot but they kept my feet dry on a 16 mile hike on a flooded trail during a rain storm feet got a little cold but stayed dry while my friends feet got soaked

Boot is good but laces arent. They dont hold when tightening and come untied when hiking. Ive had 2 pair Ultra 4 and they didnt have this problem.

Took a day or two to break in and really get it adjusted to your feet. So Id definitely recommend doing this before any sort of real activity! They are very sturdy and comfortable boots

Ive had several pair of the X Ultra GTX shoes over the years and Ive found them to be a very comfortable in town winter shoe for me. The mid height level is great for keeping out snow/slush without having to wear a big bulky boot around all the time.
