If I could get the right size I think this shoe would be so comfortable

Finally!! Shoes wide enough for my toes! I like everything about these shoes except the tiny tight lace guides that make it unreasonably hard to get the shoes off.

Who else makes shoes that are actually shaped like normal unbound feet? Hardly anyone.

I wanted to love these, but they just did not feel right on my feet. I kind of felt like there wasn't a normal amount of foot support?

I really liked my pair of Ultraventure 3 shoes, but the Ultraventure 4s broke down a lot faster than the 3s. The fabric on the top of the shoe where the toe bends started tearing after about 7 months, and I only wore them 2, maybe 3 times a week. I mostly used them for walking as well, so it's not like they were accumulating a ton of mileage. My Ultraventure 3s are nearing the end of their lifespan after about a year and I wore them much more than the 4s. The tread is pretty worn down, but the fabric is still in pretty good condition. They were pretty comfortable, but almost felt like a different model than the Ultraventure 3s. Not sure why they change so much between versions.

I loved this shoe at first (this was my first Topi ever), the first time I accidentally got them wet, then they were too big, they really stretched out. The mesh like uppers started wearing a hole in a spot where they were bending just a little. I unfortunately had to return them.

I have a couple of other styles of Topos, and the fit seemed similar to my Atmos. Nice wide toe box (to accommodate bunions), narrower heel and cushy sole with good arch support. The issue is the Vibram sole, which seems really sticky and squeaked all the time on the hardwood floors. The stickiness may have gone away with some wear and dirt, but I didn't want to take a chance.

Kind of has a funny shape and it felt awkward trying to walk in them. Does have plenty of room for toes to splay.

I loved much about this shoe, but the arch just didn’t work for me. I wish Topo would sell a shoe without the arch. I embraced the barefoot running shoe style back in 2008 after reading Born to Run and have never looked back - the ability for the arch to flatten with impact and bounce back, taking the main body impact as designed to do, has saved my hips, knees, and feet. Ditto for hiking. Now when I hike with a shoe with a built-in arch hitting my foot arch with every step, I hate it - I feel bruised, despite having a fairly high arch. Besides the arch, this shoe was perfect: wide toe box, snug heel cup, decent colors, and a gently curved sole that slightly propels you forward. I wish they had worked better for me, but if you like a supportive arch in your shoe, these would work great for you.

I have a Topo shoe and it's great, so I ordered another style in the exact same size and width. This style is unstable.
