I normally wear a size 8 but because of the pointed toe box, this shoe was pinching my toes. A larger size would not help because then it would slip off my foot.

I loved these shoes, unfortunately they were too big. I wear an 12, I would have ideally ordered an 11 1/2 but not made. I would have tried an 11 but they were sold out.
