These boots have a firm innersole and moderate arch support. They also have very strong ankle support and aggressive tread. Unfortunately, I am returning them because they put too much pressure on my sore ankle joints so I won't be able to wear for any length of time. I was impressed with the quality and will definitely try other Columbia brand boots and shoes.

Even though I ordered wide- boot felt a little too narrow and had to return. But really liked this boot

The shoes looked great but they dig into my ankles, so I have to return. I'll try a low cut version of this

Took these on a 4-day 30+ mile hike, so this is a very honest review of how they did. I broke them in a little before the hike. I did not have any arch aches, very very little rubbing and blisters. The way it ties put a little pressure on the front of the ankle. I couldnt get the toe to be super secure due to them being more on the stiff side. Considering I hike 30+ miles in them, they did really well. Totally waterproof, good grip, and I was able to wear one or two pairs of socks with them, depending on what I needed. I felt that they run about a 1/2 up which worked fine for me.

These boots are heavy

Nice style but the shoe was very stiff, Disappointing.
