I like many Dansko styles, and the Mae is what I was hoping the Beatrice style would be. They are a bit chunky but not clunky to me, and they are supportive enough for my high arches and plantar fasciitis! The strap is velcro, which is convenient (though I do miss the real buckle as they feel more secure). I love the look of the cork heel and round toes. I am usually a size 8W and these fit me perfectly, so keep that in mind if you have narrow feet.

I collect goofy looking but comfortable shoes. Dansko Mae are exactly that. I bought them for comfort and because they are not made of leather. As synthetics go, they look nice, not cheap, and do not make your feet hot and gross. And, wow, they feel great. The insole absolutely embraces your feet. They do give blisters without socks, but who wears synthetic shoes without socks anyhow? Last night, I had to run like the devil to catch a bus in them, and could both run really fast and did not suffer any pain from the mad dash- awesome! I wear them to work and then out on the town afterward--very versatile if slightly clunky and goofy shoes are your type of look.

Please listen to all the reviewers and order a size smaller. I always wear a 39 in Dansko. I have the Merrin clog in 39. But this shoe was too big in the 39. I ordered the 38. I put them on this morning and haven’t taken them off. So comfortable. I love the denim blue color. I have been waiting for a nice looking Mary Jane for ages. In the South, we can wear a shoe like this in the winter.

These run large, I normally wear a 38 but got the 37. They are plenty wide and have great support. Comfortable right out of the box!

These ran a size large. I have several pairs of Danskos and they are all 38. But I was swimming in a 38 in this model. 37 was perfect. Love them!

Thanks to the folks who suggested going down a size, I usually wear size 39 so I ordered size 38 and it was perfect.
So cute, great blue color, Velcro attachment that looks like a buckle. Can’t wait to make them my favorites!

It's hard to know with Dansko how they will fit. I first ordered the Meara slip-on that's more like a mule and it was too tight, so this time I went with my normal size 39 and it's way too big. Too wide, foot is sloshing around, and too long. I'm not sure I will reorder...the shoe is clunkier than I was hoping for...not dressy at all. And the footbed is quite firm. I like Danskos but need more cushion for my 70+ year old, cranky feet!

My shoe size is 5.5 I ordered the size 36 US 5.5/6 and unfortunately they are way too big. Nice looking shoe though.

I normally order a size 40 in Dansko, I need the width but they're usually a bit long in the back (except for the Rowan style, 40 in those fit good). I read the reviews saying these ran big so I ordered a 39 and it fits perfect! I may order the blue ones now....thank you ladies!

So cute and so comfortable! Best danskos I have ever bought. 100% I love the fact it looks like a buckle but is in fact velcro! Sometimes Danskos are not great for my low back as they tilt your pelvis forward. I feel like these shoes have more of a flatter foot bed. Super supportive arch. I do have a slight high arch, so might add a bit extra but not sure if I need to with these. I will have these for

Comfortable and stylish. I got the taupe and wear with jeans and skirts since they are so versatile. I am a true 38 in all Dansko and got a 37 based on the comments. They fit perfect! I got them on sale so very pleased with the shoe and the price. Velcro does not bother me since lots of shoes are now doing Velcro closure.

My foot was swimming in this, but I have a relatively small foot except for bunions! A fuller foot would fit this, and enjoy the great support.

I have serious troubles finding shoes to fit my long narrow 12 AA feet. These are PERFECT. I can't believe it. They seemt to run a bit long, a bit narrow. Hurray Plus they look classy. The soles are very non-skid.

Fantastic shoe. I own 7 pairs of Danskos, the only shoes I wear. The Rocker Bottom style is my favoite (as opposed to the clog). Very cute shoe. I get complements all the time. Very comfortable on my wide, flat feet with Plantar faciatis. I can wear them all day long.

Great shows, great service. Got my shoes the next day. Had to do an exchange and it was as easy as pie and the customer service rep. was wonderful. It was a great experience and I will definitely buy from Zappos again.\r\n\r\nMy only comment is that I wish the shoe came in half sizes. I am a true 7 1/2 so I had to make some adjustments for the 8 to fit.

I bought these for standing all day at work and they are perfect right out of the box. They don't need any breaking in period. Fantastic comfort and super cute! I've gotten compliments on them every time I wear them. My next pair of shoes will be Danskos.

These are pretty comfy as dress shoes go. I was on my feet for 12 hours with a 1 hour break, and when I came home I could tell that the shoes were helping because my feet weren't blistered and my legs weren't absolutely killing me like they usually do on my full clinic day. They are cute, and once you get used to walking in them, they are nice. However, they do have some drawbacks. The strap left an indent in the top of my foot all night, and because it is stretchy it loosens a bit as the day wears on, meaning you have to tighten it periodically. The shoes fit me well, but I found the top of the shoe causing a bit of friction with my heel as I walked, even with nylons on. I have a small piece of irritated skin on the back of my heel. I think I will just put a band aid there before another long day. Otherwise, these are nice shoes.
