Everything is true - I wear a 41 and have 8 pair of Danskos, sandals and clogs. These do not fit - I tried a 41 and it slipped off the back of my heel and my foot slid too far forward, hurting my toes. So I exchanged them for a 40 and they are way too tight. No in between. Love the look - hate the fit and feel.

Great looker but uncomfortable. I have many pairs of Dansko clogs and they are my most comfortable and most favorite shoes. I was very excited when I saw this dress shoe, because I hoped that they would be as comfortable as the clogs I wown. Unfortunately, the sizing is not the same as the regular clogs, either too small or too large. My foot slides down in them and they are very uncomfortable across the top of my foot. Wish that I could send these back. I would not recommend these shoes to anyone who expects to experience the comfort of the regular Dansko shoes.

pretty, but needs work... I have lots of Dansko shoes, so I know what my size is... I don't know what it is with this shoe, it just doesn't fit right. It feels both too big (in the heel) and too small (in the toe). Dansko clogs are designed for free movement of the foot (your heel is supposed to move up and down freely without touching the back of the shoe). This heel movement still happens in this shoe, but the heel height makes the whole thing very uncomfortable. The shoes are very comfortable to stand around in, but quite uncomfortable for a lot of walking.

Love Danskos, hate Bridget - I have several pair of Danskos and LOVE them. I was happy to see a dressier look so got them. Sizing is much different. I normally wear a 39 and these won't stay on! I've "lost" them several times walking down the hall. I'll go back to Marcelle gladly. Disappointed.

Dansko bridget - This shoe does not feel like other Danskos, because of the "rise" of the heel- therefore, if wearing like a typical Dansko is supposed to fit, the foot "sloshes" forward... I love Dansko and already own over 15 pairs, but had to return this beautiful shoe because of the fit.

great looking but a bit uncomfortable - Beautiful shoes but even the size nine was a bit uncomfortable (usually wear an 8 1/2). I'm going to try wearing them around the house a few more times to see if they will feel better.

I'd suggest trying a different Dansko shoe - This shoe is beautiful, but that's about it. My heel lifts up and out of the shoe and the shoe falls off at least once a day -- and many more times if you're going up and down stairs a lot. And the shoe really hurts my feet by the end of the day. I own four pairs of Dansko shoes. The others are great but I wish I hadn't purchased these ones.

OUCH! My mother-in-law and I bought these simultaneously and wore them out to dinner one night in Berkeley, CA. Well, we couldn't find a good parking spot. She made in 3/4 of a block and I made it a little further before hobbling back to her and waiting for my husband to retrieve us and drop us off for our reservations. We agreed it felt like Chinese foot-binding must feel. This is my, um, seventh pair of Danskos and my only regret. Wear them extensively around the house before deciding to scuff the soles!!! Ow.

Not What I Expected - I own nothing but Dansko's and I love this collection, but this shoe just falls right off your foot! I highly recommend all other Dansko shoes. The hampton collection in particular is GREAT for the office. P.S. Zappos rocks!

Disappointed in comfort - This was the first pair of Dansko shoes I have ever owned, but have admired them for their looks and claims of comfort. I never spend this much on a pair of shoes, but splurged on these telling myself I was buying quality and comfort. I was terribly disappointed on the first and only day I have worn them. They were not bad at first, but by the end of the day they hurt so bad across the top of my foot I could hardly walk. I do not walk that much either--I have a desk job. If I had not already worn these shoes I would definitely return them. I dread wearing them again, but I feel like I must hoping they will get more comfortable after they are broken in. It must just be this style, because I bought a pair of Dansko sandals at the same time and am very pleased with those.

They are same size as my other Danskos that I wear. but measure larger than others.

Dansko styles are always spot on for me, but these were a miss. Materials were good but could not keep them on my feet. They were too floppy and loose despite being my correct size. The elastic gore on the side made the sandal very floppy. Thank you, Zappos, for your great delivery, service and easy returns!

Shoe is very heavy and bulky. I wear a medium width and my foot slid around in the shoe and was hard to keep on. Very disappointed in Dansko. Shoe design is very poor. Dansko shoes do not fit like they used to. Please go back to your old fit and design.

This is not the shoe you've been waiting for - I was so excited to see this shoe because I have bad feet and have to dress very professionally. Unfortunately, the shoe is very painful to wear. The heel is too high for comfort. My heel slips out. The front pinches. It hurts everywhere. Too bad it's so beautiful. Try again Dansko!

Beware of heels - This is the first time I've ever been let down with a pair of Danskos. The backs of these shoes tore up my heels so badly that I can't even wear them. These were a complete waste of money as I cannot wear them nor return them. All my other Danskos are so comfortable, but I think it might have something to do with the higher heel of this model. Beware!!!

Thumb's down on Bridget! This is my first-time to own a pair of Dansko shoes. I was so excited when I bought these shoes because I heard positive things about Dansko shoes line on its comfort and durability. Boy, I was disappointed when I wore them to work. I am a flight attendant so I am on my feet all day. I bought a size 36, but they were snug, so I opted for a size 37. These shoes hurt, it made my corns much worse than they are. My feet tend to slide toward the front of the shoes, thus rubbing my toes against the leather. Walking in these shoes is very uncomfortable, my heels keep slipping off so I have to walk really slooow and funny to keep my shoes from falling off my feet. The good thing about these shoes is that I do not have to remove them when I go through security. Plus, I get positive comments about the style.

Dansko bridget - This shoe looks great but it is just too uncomfortable to wear. By the end of the day I had to take them off and put on my sneakers at work because the top of my feet hurt too much. (I don't do much walking because I have a desk job, so I definitely couldn't wear this for a lot of walking.) I was disappointed because I have loved all the other Dansko shoes that I have bought. I will try other Dansko shoes because I have been so pleased with the comfort of the shoes I have already purchased.
