Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
My go-to 3 season hiking/backpacking and everyday casual wear pants. Pros: --the elastic waist (works well wearing a backpack because there's no chafing from pressure of pack on a belt and they slip off and on easily while wearing a pack for quick pitstops on the trail) --colors (even the "blurple") are neutral enough to coordinate with just about any color shirt, richly hued and don't fade so they also work well as off-trail wear. --fabric repels water, dries fast if soaked, breathes well, resists wrinkles, is practically weightless, and is stretchy comfy. --adjustable length. I'm 5'3" with shorter legs and longer torso. I have these pants in the 30" inseam and the 32" inseam. I prefer the 32" scrunched up slightly with the tie. The 30" feels too short, but they're okay in the summer with flip flops. --pockets that function, but don't look like cargo pants. Cons: --the fabric stretches out with wear. At the end of a long day sitting, the rear gets baggy so they can look sloppy after a long day of traveling. --the thigh area is too big. I'd prefer a slimmer/more fitted cut. I own all last year's colors and they still look good after wearing, washing, and hanging to dry practically daily all last summer and fall. I just bought the Indigo Blue (a gorgeous, deeply rich color that gets compliments from strangers) and the Blurple (a unique eggplant shade that works with lots of other colors). Highly Recommend!

The best part about these pants is that they are lightweight and long-lasting for backpacking and hiking through the bush, but also flattering and stylish enough to wear anytime. Have I mentioned how comfortable they are? I slept in mine the first time I wore them, and didn't take them off for two days. I immediately bought a second pair in an additional color, which I have never done before. I also never leave reviews, so I hope I get the point across that you won't be sorry for making this purchase.

I absolutely love these pants in black, I had to another in the same color! I only had to do one return, which went flawless, because the 30 inseam was to short for me. I like to joke with my boyfriend and compare these to his Dickie work pants! I wish they had them in a charcoal gray, they are so amazing! Comfortable and form fitting until right about the knee! I'm a XS-SM in these pants... I have to turn the waist down because it sits to high up for me but others might like it that way! PLEASE KEEP THESE IN STOCK!!!

I'm a big fan of Mountain Hardwear tops, but don't have many of their pants as I need a long inseam. This pant comes in various lengths, so good for all heights. The pants are super comfortable, like a lightweight soft pair of medical scrubs. I will definitely look to buy more colors if/when they're available. I'm 5'9" and 150 lbs. The large size in 34" inch fit great!

These are my very first pair of these from this brand and I wasn't sure if I'd like them on me but they look so great on the model that I had to get a pair. I ordered a SM and they fit great. They are so comfy! I was also worried they'd make noises when I walked but nope! They are great.

I have two pairs of these pants and absolutely love them. I have many more pairs of hiking pants, but often just wear these to run to the store or go for a walk. They fit perfectly, and I love that there's nothing restrictive at the waist. The only improvement I would recommend is perhaps a pull tie at the waist for when the elasticity is not as good. I wish they were available in a beige/khaki/tan color. I already have the green and grey. These are definitely my favorite hiking pants!

Awesome pants! These were intended for outdoor adventures and traveling. I wanted to find a pair of pants that were light and comfortable for activities such as hiking, camping, and everyday wear that were not yoga pants. I have worn these hiking numerous times, although they will not keep you warm once the cold weather hits, more for summer/spring as they are very thin. I am about 114 lbs, 5'4, and pretty slender. I opted for a size small with the 32 inseam. The waist band is stretchy. They fit perfect on the waist and not too snug, but movable. I also like the feature of being able to crop the pants to your ankles with the cinch. I'm picky about pants and I love these.

These pants are incredibly comfortable with just the right amount of stretch. The pockets are super deep to ensure you don't lose anything while hiking, and the comfort band stays in place quite nicely. I can't wait to get a few more pairs!

Perfect fit. Wore my usual size xs(5’ 3, 112 lbs.) my third pair so they must be comfortable. Fit much better than the Columbia which gave me an unattractive muffin top.

I love these pants- very flattering- I’m usually always a med- occasionally a small- 5’6” size 5/6 or 7/8 I ordered these in medium- I wanted a more tighter looking fit but these are very very loose but that’s fine I’m keeping them-

These pants are nice. The fit is flattering. They are comfortable. However I found the fabric to be thin and it was not what I was expecting (a more comfortable knit). The fabric is not knit; however it probably would be cool and good for hiking. My favorite pant similar to this is the Stonewear Designs Rockin Pant. I found the blue color to be more of a grey/green/blue than the picture.

Like all Mountain Hardwear products, this pant is very well made and these pants are super duper stretchy and comfortable. (I ordered these because I also liked the Kuhl Mova Pant that I bought at Zappos. I got a size 14 in those, and they were also very generously sized.) These particular Mountain Hardwear pants seem to run a bit on the large side. I ordered an XL and it was just way too big in hips and legs (I normally wear size 14 or 16 depending on brand and am 165-170 lbs 5'8-1/2" tall. I am built rather straight, i.e., tend to gain weight in waist but hips are pretty straight from waist down). I've noticed in Mountain Hardwear that pants and skirts run a tad large. However, their tops, jackets and blouses run true to size, at least they have for me. (I usually buy XL in tops due to being 38D bust size.) I really loved the kuhl mova pant and the mountain hardwear pant because they are stretchy at the waist, so I don't feel constricted after eating those big Thanksgiving and Christmas meals that are coming up soon. But they are also very outdoor tough and sturdy as well, so you can hike and climb rocks in them as well.

I bought a pair of these a few years ago that I've been very happy with. This year's model is almost identical to my older pair except that the fabric has more elastacine (spandex) than my older pair. They are not as soft and comfortable as my older pair. They area especially uncomfortable in humid weather. I returned them. Size Small short fit me well (a fairly roomy fit) - I'm 5'4" 112 lb, slim hips.

Cute, casual, comfy pants. Fit was pretty good. Main problem is that the fabric is so thin, it shows any bit of cellulite and panty lines. You can see every body bump through the fabric. Also, the cinch at the hem would be cuter and more useful if it were on the inside and outside of the pant leg, not just the outside.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
Five star comfort but overpriced for the quality. These are hands down super comfortable and fit my waist with no gapping--definitely happy-dance inducing! The indigo is a nice rich color, not dull and not too purple--great with a white tee. The pockets are nice and the pant is light, with clean topstitching on the pockets and down the legs and did I say comfortable? But the odd rucshing at the sides of the top and the serger stitching on the waistband relegate them to yoga pant status. They look fine with an untucked top to cover the mini-maternity-look waistband. I would buy these again on a clearance sale but they don't hold a candle for technical design and beautiful stitch work to any of my Kuhl pants so it's hard to justify the similar price.

I was excited to try these after all of the positive reviews; however, after finally trying them on I was disappointed with how they fit. I'm 5'4", 110 lbs and I ordered an XS and S. The 32" inseam worked out well. However, there's an elastic band sewn into the top of the pants, it's about 0.5" wide and for the XS it dug into my waist and felt uncomfortable. The elastic for the small worked out well, but the pants below the fabric waistband was too big and roomy on my backside and thighs. Lastly, the fabric was like a lint magnet. It picked up lint from anything I brushed by or sat on.

First off, I ordered a small with 34" inseam but received the short inseam instead. But when I tried them on anyway, I couldn't get them over my hips at all. The waistband fabric is stretchy but has stitching all the way around the top that won't let it stretch at all. I'm normally a size 4-6, slender build, and reluctant to try a medium because the pant fabric seems really stretchy and may be too baggy in the hips/seat.

The Dynama pant is the best pant ever! I absolutely love these pants. I currently have 10 pairs and want to buy more. So please tell me why you are no longer making these pants?! I ordered 2 pairs of the Dynama 2 pant and they are nothing like the original Dynama pant. They are ill fitting! Please please please bring back the original Dynama. Truly a very sad customer.

The pants are very cute and stylish. I gave them a one overall star because the material has pilled so back, I can't wear them out of the house anymore.
