I wear 8 wide, but in ASICS needed a 9 extra wide

I have been a loyal buyer of Gel Res for several years and this new version is just off in terms of what I come back for. The toe box is huge ,to the point that it looks awkward, and it moves just like it looks. I have to loosen the laces or they hurt, but that doesn't feel secure. I am disappointed these aren't my standby anymore.

The shoe has a lot of great cushion heel and ball of foot. I felt good support support. However, I have a bunion on one foot, and I felt and was afraid, there will be no "give" even after a lot of wearing time. I wore them one

I loved the look and feel of the shoe but even the wide in my size was too narrow. I'm disappointed I had to return them.

Previously purchased this shoe in a regular width. I purchased another a few months afterwards and it felt narrow. The current wide is feels the same as the old regular width.

I think this will be a good shoe for me if they are longer.

I have narrow and less cushion to my feet. I love ASICS but this style was so stiff I could not get them on comfortably. The internal sides were extremely rigid. Some cushion but not in the right arch support spot for me.

Toe box big and bulky. Actually hear it fold when I walk. Fan of Gel-Resolution 8 and 9. This is a very different shoe. Feels half size larger. Very disappointed.

These sneakers were very uncomfortable...i have always worn Gel Resolution for tennis and there was no break-in period..these were very different.

It was by far the worse ASICS shoe that I have worn. I have been wearing ASICS for 10 years and have always loved them . These were so uncomfortable and gave me blisters.

I have worn Asics for years and have never had a problem, but these were the least comfortable tennis shoes I've ever bought. They literally cut both of my ankles so that they bled when I played tennis in them. Since I used them, I can't return them, but I wanted to write a review so others can avoid the costly mistake I made.
