I sized up a half size. The fit is perfect in the foot, but the calf is still a bit snug. Im having it stretched a bit. I do find Frye runs narrow through the calf, so if you have trouble finding boots that fit, definitely go to a cobbler or get a wide calf option if you can.

These are gorgeous. The leather is soft. I got the banana color with the stitching , so cute. They dont hug my calf and they run TTS. I initially ordered a half size down due to reviews butttt they were too small. My normal size was great. I wanted a tall boot but something different than the campus , that everyone is wearing . These are a win.

Boot is beautiful I think a zipper would make a great impact. I am 56, 189 lbs and the top of boot gets stuck on calf. If there is no zipper design top of boot a a bit wider. But its a great boot just needs a zipper.

Unflattering, baggy in the ankle. The "mimosa" color is cheap and ugly looking. They felt comfortable and fit true to size, but I really disliked the look.

I have been dreaming of a vintage pair of Frye boots for so long and when I found the Kate pull on boots I fell in love! Im normally a size 6.5 but sized down to a 6 based on reviews. They are a bit tight but have already loosened a bit with wear. I also agree with other reviews that the calf area is quite small and one boot is significantly more tight in the calf than the other. I will definitely be looking into getting them stretched because there is no way I could wear them with skinny jeans. Overall I love the style and am very happy

I needed a 5 1/2 its to big

Love these boot and fit great shoe size but tops are too narrow and my calfs are not that large. So bummed

The boots are probably amazing but I have no idea. The customer service has been horrible in dealing with their shipping error. Its been 3 weeks and I havent received the boots nor an explanation or solution to repair the problem. Good luck, friends!

I bought the blue gray floral. I went by the reviews only to be disappointed when I got them. The calves are NOT wide like people are saying. However, I love the boots so I will get the calves professionally stretched and a possible gusset put in the inside. Frye might want to think about the gusset option too

Amazing boots! Run 1/2 size large

If youve even swooned over a vintage pair of Fryes you couldnt fit into, these are for you!! For years Ive seen 70s Fryes for sale in small sizes, Ive always wanted Frye to reissue the vintage styles and these met all my expectations! The block heel, western details and pull on straps are so freakin cool, especially in the Mimosa color! Very similar to Campus Banana, which I also own:) this is a dressier/more feminine version. Im a 9 1/2 M or 9W, a 10 in heeled boots and a 9 in flats and found these to fit very well in a size 9. Id say size down a 1/2 size based on my experience. If you take true size youll need an insert. My campus are a 9 1/2 and need an insert and thick sock. I have athletic halfs and found these slipped right on over jeans. The leather is buttery soft, not the thick leather of the campus, def more luxurious. I had to have these, theyre gorgeous and as I turn 40 on leap year (or 10:)) this year figured Id splurge, glad I did!! Thank you Frye for making these unique, retro beauties! Cant wait to wear with a crochet shift dress!!

I wanted to love these so much. Ive dreamed of having a pair of Frye boots from childhood. I ordered a half size up. They were not only tight on my foot but I couldnt get them pulled over my calves. I dont even have big calves. Sadly I had to return them. Even sadder stillI was charged $12 shipping.

The calf was really wide and I would the foot was a whole size too large. My heel came completely out on every step. That being said they were gorgeous boots.
