These are super cute. I tried the size i always try, a 7.5/38. It fit in length and was an attractive boot. My issues are always the same with boots. I have a thin foot, but not a narrow foot, my heel is skinny, and i have skinny calves. These boots have structure in the shaft so being a bit wide for me did not make them fall down. For some people this would be an issue because rubbing against skin can irritate. I could live with this. The reason for return is that the heel was just to wide and slippy, could not make it work for me. The rest of the foot bed was great. So if you have skinnier calves and boney feet these actually can work if your heel isn't too skinny.

I have 15 inch calves and originally ordered the wide calf version, since the regulars mention a 14.5 inch circumference. I also originally sized up to size 9 because some people mentioned them running small. I felt like there was way too much space with the wide calf, and my heel slipped a lot, so I returned for 8.5 regular calf! They look great. I hope they last a long time.
