I bought this style in 2022 and was so impressed immediately by the softness of the leather. They seriously did not even need to be broken in. Ive worn them out because I love them so much and wear them all the time. So I decided to get a new pair. I noticed the terrible reviews but thought, no way! Theyre so nice! So I tried again. Sadly the reviews were spot on. Extremely stiff leather. Not even close to the original. Extremely uncomfortable! Ive already returned for a refund

These boots are gorgeous and I wanted to keep them. However, the heel of the right-side shoe is permanently crushed in, making it very uncomfortable to walk. I think the problem with the heel is that the strap fits under the leather of the heel.

SO STIFF. and uncomfortable. The soles of these boots dont really flex when you walk, like having a plank of wood on the bottom of your feet. The leather uppers are not soft at all, similar feel to a steel-toe boot. And they are super shiny, which I dont like, it makes them look cheap and like fake leather. Made in Mexico and have a strong chemical smell even though I left them on the porch to air them out all week. Super disappointed in this FRYE pair of boots. They used to be so much better.

They do run small. I bought an 8 1/2 and should have gotten a 9. I am normally an 8. The leather is pretty hard they need. Breaking in.

Love the boots, but they are way too big in length and width. I wear either 8. 5 or 9, depending on the shoe/boot, but these are just too big.

I love my new boots! Customer service support was also excellent. Ive been looking to order these boots for sometime now and I am so grateful that I finally did. They fit perfectly I am in between size 9:5/10 so I sized down and Im sure glad that I did, they fit perfectly, snug but room to stretch as these boots are leather. Im looking forward to purchasing my next pair of Frye boots in the near future!
