This is a fantastic sandal. The straps are much more pliant than Birkenstock right out of the box, with a different molded footbed than Birks, but still comfortable. I wore these around the house for a few minutes, then took a chance and brought them outside. No regrets! Was able to walk about 2 miles no problem. They have a kind of sporty vibe, not trying to be elegant, but they do look a bit more refined than the regular height birks already in my closet. I like that the strap closest to the ankle keeps the shoe from slipping off during walking. I normally wear a 40 regular in Birks, and don't normally fit the Birks 40 Narrow styles--but the 40 narrow in this Papillio worked for me.

So wanted this shoe to fit but it was still too wide for my slim foot even when I tightened the buckles to the max. PLEASE make more narrow capability shoes for us.

Absolutely gorgeous! Please bring them in black/nubuck just like these!!!!! It’s the only sandal I can wear due to issues with my feet as I age!

I love these sandals. I’d say they were cute but nothing is cute in a size 41! Regardless, they are comfy and after trying on literally 30 different pairs of sandals, I was so happy that I could adjust these to fit my feet. I have a very flat instep and a narrow foot so nothing else was adjustable enough and the tops of the sandals wouldn’t even touch my foot. Very frustrating so I am very glad I took a chance on these. The nubuck color goes with everything and the platform sole worked well for me as I need cushion under my feet. The Birkenstock footbed holds my foot in place and there is a fairly deep heel cup that adds stability. I highly recommend these !

I love the Birkenstock platforms. I have foot issues and the platforms are terrific. I love the Florida style and that it is a bit different from my usual Arizona ones.

I will not wear shoes that squeak. Returning.

What is not to love about Birkenstocks? Because they're adjustable, the width is negotiable. These have a little extra height for us petite ladies. The greenish color is really pretty, kind of a light muted teal. They have good arch support. Definitely a winner!

I had wanted the Arizonas but the narrow still looked to big and bulky for my foot. I decided to try the Floridas and they were perfect. They fit as a a Birkenstock should and the nubuck straps are very comfortable. The platform makes them a little different than my other birkies. Very happy with my purchase…and they we on sale m.

I wear a 9 so I ordered according to the chart, but they were to small I had to size up to the size 10-10 1/2.

I ordered these in a womens 5-5.5 and they felt and looked very sloppy. I had to make the straps tighter, which just made them look even sillier. The sage color is a pastel, Easter-inspired green, which looks ridiculous. These sandals look cheap - not what I'm used to with Birkenstocks, of which I've owned multiple pairs over the years. I've never tried Papillio before, and frankly, Birkenstock should probably reconsider collaborating with them. Yuck.
