I have been satisfied with the Peregrine 13, and was looking forward to the 15 with the improved sole and thicker tongue. Unfortunately, the toe box in the wide version of the 15 is not as wide as the 13 and slightly more pointed. Also tried the 14 and its even worse. Were only talking about 3mm or so but when you are on the trail as much as I am going from no hotspots to two potentials is unacceptable. Hoka did the same thing with the latest upgrade of the Speedgoat. You dont have to be as open as an Altra or Topo but I wish their design teams would invite comments from experienced trail runners/hikers that could lead to the right shape for a wide shoe.

Great fit. Very comfortable right out of the box. I bought these shoes for walking and running around rural Guatemala. In my usual fashion, I didnt get them until two days before the trip. The best pair of brand new shoes Ive worn. There was no break in period. Just super comfortable from the beginning. Great traction and support. I will be buying more of these!

This is my 4th pair of Peregrine's. I love the fit, the feel, and how I can go for miles without aches or pains.
The only reason they did not get a 5 star is the the fact that the nubs on the soles wear out relatively quickly.
If they could fix that, they would be perfect! I will buy more.

Great traction and very comfortable for both walking and running. Cushioning in heel area wore faster than anticipated otherwise I would give 5*

I have enjoyed the shoes so far. They are just what I wanted for my first pair of trail running shoes.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)

Runs NarrowRuns Wide
Poor SupportGreat Support
They fit my narrow feet perfectly with plenty of room in the toe area. (C x B heel) Have to tighten securely to prevent heel movement. Grip is amazing even on loose gravely trails. Great support and enough cushion to wear all day. Style is great with shorts, pants and of course jeans. Haven’t tried wearing a backpack but alternate 2 pairs on local trails from day to day. They breathe well but are not water resistant. So need a more sturdy waterproof shoe for serious days on longer hikes. Have about 200 miles on them combined. Took only one pair to walk in Yellowstone, Glacier and Alberta National Parks. No sign of any wear or fatigue at this point. Like them better than all Hoka I’ve worn over previous several years.

I was expecting the shoe to be wider. Tight across the top of my foot under the laces.

Im three weeks into using these trail runners for backwoods trail runs, with my first backpacking trip coming up next week. So far, theyve been excellent. The fit hugs my foot just right, secure without feeling restrictive. The treads are solid and spaced wide enough to shed mud easily, and they dry quickly. Big thumbs up.

I've been running trail Ultramarathons in Peregrins since 2015 and they have consistently gotten slightly better with each iteration.

Toe box is really narrow. I have narrow feet to begin with, but got blisters on the outside of both big toes after only seven miles.

The new Peregrine 15s are great! The 15s have a vastly improved outsole compared to the 13s and 14s. Saucony has finally redesigned the sole and has gone away from the split outsole with soft material that was previously prone to collecting rocks and ruining the shoe. I use them for rugged mountain hiking on trails and cross-country terrain and they perform very well. I will also add that Saucony is a company that stands behind its products, in my experience.

Purchased this style over a month ago. I like the flatter stance of this shoe. It only has a 4 mm offset so they are quite stable. Ive used for running and the gym. The soft midsole make for a cushioned run and yet firm enough for gym workouts.

These shoes are incredible. Great fit and cushion while being nimble on the trail. Seems like higher quality also than last time I tried them.
