As a woman with wide feet, I can usually count on men's shoes to give me the extra bit of width I need without ordering men's wide width. Definitely not with these. They are so narrow I can't lace them all the way. They are also shorter than expected. Usually wear women's 10-10.5 / EU 41.5 and ordered an 8.5 in these. They seem well made. If you have a VERY narrow foot maybe these would work for you.

What I appreciate is how durable the material feels. Tough, it’s not going to tear easily. The width is very roomy that I added some padding to snug up the shoe. The shoe strings could be a little shorter and thicker as they are thin and can be difficult to untie when double knotted. They are more than okay.

The construction is good. I don’t hike in them but wear them for work with a lot of walking. The build in the other is below par. First annoying this I found is the shoe strings were way too long. It must have been laced with boot strings. The second annoying this is the strings are thin and do not stay tight. How they loosen I can’t say but I’d pull them tight knowing they loosen and later on I can put a finger below the knot. I after shortening the strings I purchased new strings and the eyelets at the top were too small to let the tips of the new strings pass through. Nothing special about the replacements aside from being round strings vs flat. So the next thing is they are too loose fitting. I were a normal medium shoe and I had to place two of the foam inserts to have it feel slightly snug. So I will not buy these again.

Very roomy, had to add insole padding, shoe strings are poor quality, may appear great but they are too long and are thin so tying them makes really small knots that are difficult to untie but will loosen by themselves very easily. The material is sturdy and I felt requires a break in as the “shanks” really dig into my ankles. Replacing the shoe strings may make these more acceptable.
