The fit was OK, although unlike the older Clifton models, this one still feels a bit too elongated and pointed in the toe box. I preferred the wider or rounded fit. My biggest issue is that I felt my ankle was being directed/pronated somewhat inward, and by the end of the day felt strain on the outside of my foot at the heel and ankle.

Will definitely be going back to brooks or asics. My feet started to hurt after wearing these after a couple of weeks.

I ordered my usual 6.5 and these fit well. The Clifton is generally my favorite Hoka and these are no exception. I can't put my finger on why they fit me so well. I have high arches and these do not provide any arch support that I can tell, but most shoes don't, so that's not unusual. I tend to roll onto the outside of my feet, and these definitely push me inward - *almost* excessively - so if you tend to roll inward, I think these would possibly not be for you. But they're perfect for me - stable, plush enough, well ventilated, very cute, great support - basically the perfect everyday shoe.

Size 9 fit well. It was suggested that I go a half size up but I didn't find that to be the case. Very supportive with a very smooth heal to toe ride. Comfortable toe box, not too wide or too tight. I am able to slip in my orthotics without making the shoe too tight. They feel really good like walking on "supportive foam". Also, I think that look super cute!

Oh good grief! These are fantastic!!! I’m a retired RN, 73 years old, have degenerative arthritis, have had one total knee and two lumbar surgeries…. Wish I’d found these YEARS AGO!!! I’ve spent a fortune on shoes over the past 40 years (Ryka, Brooks, g-defy, on cloud, etc)… nothing helped… just persevered. I bought a pair of these because I ran into another elderly woman who saw me looking at multiple athletic shoes … she was over the moon impressed with these! I both a pair, wore them for 5 hours while I forced myself to walk, and WOW! I woke up the following morning without back or knee pain!!!!

I put this shoe on and it was paradise! So comfortable and cushioned. I have taken a 7.5 M in past Cliftons and the same size was perfect for this shoe. I wore it for hours during the first day and loved the shoe. I would highly recommend.

This is my first pair of Hoka's and won't be my last. The shoes are lightweight and fit well. There is plenty of room across the toe box so my toes aren't cramped. I wear orthotic's and they fit right into the shoe. Love the color I chose; it is a seamiest.

As always very pleased with Hoka Clifton shoes. My job requires me to be on my feet all day and these shoes are amazing. I received my order extremely fast- thanks Zappos for great service.

Work well for my neuropathy and falling arches in feet!

Most comfortable shoes I ever tried on!!! ... but the sole way too thick and didn't feel I could keep good balance!!

If not for the built in arch support, I would not have returned the shoes. The arch was too high for my flat feet. They actually hurt my feet by being too high through the arch area so I was not going to be able to wear them comfortably.

The shoe is very comfortable but because the sole is so much wider than the shoe, it appears I am wearing clown shoes.

Toe box too small.

Love the looks of this shoe. The color is beautiful. The first Hokas that do not look like old lady shoes. Alas the toe box is just too narrow for me. Am sending it back.

These are, by far, the worst shoes I have ever worn for walking. While they are very cushy and comfy to start, by the time I reached the end of my driveway the first time I wore them, I knew they were trouble. I had so much knee and ankle pain after that first walk that I put in some arch supports and wore a knee brace on my second walk. That helped my knee, but not my ankle. Third walk, I could tell I had some severe over pronation going on and that’s why I had so much ankle pain. My next step will be to head over to The Good Feet Store to try some real arch supports as these were too expensive to just throw away. I would return these, but unfortunately, as soon as I stepped out the door for that first walk, they were consider “worn” and “used” and thus ineligible for return. How else would you know if a shoe is going to work out if you don’t try them for their intended use? My advise? Ignore the Hoka hype and something else.

I have a number of Hoka Cliftons in 9.5 D that fit me perfectly. This pair does not have the same space in the toe ox that I have come to expect. Unfortunately I am returning them.

When I opened my package the shoes were dirty. It was clear that somebody had worn them and returned them. I am very displeased.

I need arch support and these didn't have the support I need.

These Hokas are super comfortable. They are my first pair and I would recommend them. Size was good, heel squishy in a good way.

They are worth the hype.

These shoes fit me in my normal size and width. They are comfortable, bouncy with great arch support. I wear them everywhere from treadmill, dog walking, light running, shopping and going out with friends.

This is my fourth pair of Hoka Clifton brand sneakers. As a long distance walker that has had plantar fasciitis before Hoka Cliftons. These sneakers helped my foot heal and continue to walk daily.

Feels true to size--and these are much less boat-like than my previous pair of Hokas. Note: they are slippery on wet surfaces so be cautious.

I love the Hoka Clinton 10. The last time I bought a Hoka Clinton shoe was 4 years ago, but have tried many other Hoka models since that time, each one causing pressure on a bone spur, and causing me pain while wearing them. The Hoka Clinton 10 accommodates my high instep, my high arch, and my right foot bone spur in my large toe. No other Hoka models supports all my foot issues. I highly recommend the Hoka Clinton 10 shoe. It’s the best for me.
