I decided to order the Hoka Bondi 9 because I was having issues with metatarsalgia in my right foot. I researched and learned that this particular brand and style was supposed to have a footbed that was wide enough to provide relief from this ailment. I did not expect to have to order the "Wide" option because in that case, I could have just ordered any sneaker in wide. I ordered medium width. Shoe arrived and was even much more narrow than the Nike sneakers I currently have, so I had to return them. Will order the WIDE next time, if I reorder.

These just didn’t quite fit well with my foot however, I was able to return them easily through Zappos‘s return policy thank you

This sneaker fit very well and was very comfortable . however it had a large platform sole that was wider than the foot bed so when I walked, my heels hit each other.

Too wide. I wish I had order regular size. It hurts my feet

I don't like how wide the sole of the shoe is - my feet are small and look really strange in them

These have great cushion, but they are way too tight and hurt outside of my foot near the pinky toe. I tried them in wide but it still pressed on the same spot and the wide just didn’t fit. I think all Hoka shoes fit like this. I have an old pair of Bondi 6 that did the same thing but I kept wearing, to walk on the treadmill only, and after a long time I broke them in. I returned these but I will probably buy them again and break them in because they are the only shoes with this much cushion and I need that for the treadmill. These do feel cheaper made than my old pair. No surprise there. I wear a half size smaller in Hoka than any other athletic shoe.

I wore these twice (days apart) and at the end of each day the ball of my feet (as well as the upper part) hurt and I couldn't wait to take them off. I loved the style and heard only good things about Hokas but they don't work for me. I don't have problems with my feet and am a size 7 average width. I bought them months ago and initially they seemed comfortable when I tried them on at home. I was waiting for Spring to start wearing them so I can't return. Expensive lesson learned. I'm back to my memory foam brand that starts with S.

The tongue on the right shoe was too short - a defect in the fabrication- make sure the two shoes are fabricated with even and long enough tongues so that you have protection on your front ankles

I was really disappointed. I have worn the HOKA Bondi 8 for years and they were perfect. The 9's were just plain painful. My feet hurt after wearing them.

Had to return. Runs a good half size smaller then expected and even the wide width was tight.

I bought these shoes thinking they would be comfortable with my Tailors Bunion. I ordered a wide and it still was too much pressure on the lateral side of my foot.

The heel and toe area are comfortable however I require a higher arch support. I find my ankles turning in without the support in these sneakers. While the size is ok, I can’t put my extra arch supports in without making them feel too tight.

These shoes were my normal size but did not fit. The half size smaller fit perfect.

I felt the shoe should’ve been a little bit longer. It felt like my toes were somewhat forced in.

It appears Bondi 8 is no longer available. I read that Bondi 9 is the “upgrade”. It dos feel lighter and the cushioning is great. However, if you were getting Bondi 8’s bc of bunions, the Bondi 9 is narrower and a disappointment. The toe box is noticeably narrower and it does make a difference. I guess I’ll be looking for another shoe.

They fit fine but were harder than the Bondi 9's I bought last summer. The heel was really stiff. Last time I knew I was keeping them immediately. This pair was uncomfortable..similar to Bond 8 for me.

these are my first Hokas they seem to run big. i usually wear a size 9 but these 8-1/2 i bough seem a bit long. i usually wear a wide width but the medium width was wide enough. a bit pricey at $175. since these are my first pair, i will have to wear them awhile before i decide if i like them

Love the look of style. Arch was not as great as expected, I added my own . Blistered my foot on top (without my inserts) They last about about 5 months wearing almost daily

“Starlight glow” appears white on the website but it’s a very light purple. That’s why it is rated 3 out of 5 for overall and style. I was expecting white not purple.

The shoe has become narrower. Wil have to return. Also had to go up a half size from my previous pair.

This was the correct size, but I found them clunky and awkward. Felt like clown shoes.
