I bought the 7W and it did not have the width of the bondi 8 in the instep and toe box will try double wide.

They felt good the first 3 days, then my back and feet started to hurt. I'm on my feet all day and good shoes are essential. I'm still in search of the right shoe for me.

The shoes felt like I was leaning backwards and off balance. This style of shoe just didn't work for me.

I am a repeat Hoka buyer, but have never experienced this problem. While overall the width was fine, for my foot there was not enough HEIGHT in the toe box. It felt like my nails would all go through the top of the shoe. My last pair of Bondi style was a 7, and they were a great fit. I cannot justify the price on the off chance that they might stretch out enough to accommodate this problem. Hoka is my go-to brand so I will keep searching.

Version 9 is way narrower in an extra wide than the prior version in a wide. Very disappointing. I have been wearing Hokas for many years, way before they became popular. Started with the Cliftons but they became too narrow and not enough cushioning. Now the same is happening with the Bondis. I need the wide in the toe area due to bunions in both feet. Looks like I'll need to try a different brand.

I usually wear a Clifton. I wanted to try this Bondi out, because I haven't before. I am on my feet alot at work as a nurse, so I have been ordering 6.5 to help the swelling after the end of a 12 hour shift. Clifton 10 in size 6 worked for me. I was wondering if I sized too far up and my gate was becoming off. The Bondi 9 Wide in 6 feels very narrow and smaller.

it is a beautiful sneakers buy it needs more cushioning , once you have them on they are not comfortable at all. it feels like you are walking on hard floor , not for me.

I bought a 7.5 wide. What I tried on did NOT feel wide at all! The shoes are cute. They fit like any other 7.5 fits me. But if you are looking for wide shoes - Keep Looking! I have the Bondi SR 7W and thought these would be nice for the summer with the mesh top. SO WRONG! The Bondi SR is like walking on a cloud, fits perfect! Avoid the Bondi 9 W if you are looking for a wide shoe.

I have worn these sneakers twice and already have blisters on the outside edge of the big toe on both feet. Too bad the refund policy requires the shoes to be unworn otherwise I’d return them.

i generally buy hoka's bondi 7 which were great!!! the bondi 9's regular width are too narrow. I returned. Now returning the wide width because they feel just as tight in the toe box as the regular width. Very disappointed that hokas changed the design in the toe box to make the bondi's more narrower. I will purchase something else.

I returned the regular width in exchange for the wide hoka bondi nine. The hoka 7 had a nice wide toe box and was a perfect fit. Had three pairs! The hoka bondi 9 is much narrower and the wide does not seem any wider in the toe box than the regular width. . May return. Wished Hoka would leave the width of the toe box alone. May go back to brooks! Really disappointed in the bondi 9.

Toe box has been changed. Lower and narrower toe box. No longer fit my feet.

They are very uncomfortable on my arches

Disappointed in the new design for Bondi 9. Have worn Bondi for 5 years. The heel change is very uncomfortable. Price has also increased. Have now moved to Brooks.

I felt like I was walking on boats. 81/2W is my perfect size in the Bondi 7. These 9s are a bit too snug on the toes in my size. It was more difficult to balance. I tried an 81/2 XW for my toes but they were huge. I might try an 8 but it could be that the cut of the sneaker is off for me. I hope the next style is more like the bondi 7. I have a similar problem with new Cliftons.

Toe box too small in a wide width. I was an avid fan of Bondi 7. It had a comfortable toe box. My foot is slightly wide at the toe box and narrow at the heel. I always wear 8 1/2 W in sneakers as I can tie them to hold my heel. They are a nice looking padded shoe if you can wear a small toe box. I may try the WW.

I have the trifecta of problem feet, narrow ,high arches and hammertoes. I have tried for four days to break these shoes in. They are okay for about two hours, then my feet start to ache . They are too wide in the heel, the front is fine but my heel constantly slips and I can’t tie them tightly enough. I like the way they look, I researched them and the Bondi were recommended for narrow feet. I think it’s my feet not the shoe that’s the problem

Sorry to see the Bondi 8 replaced by a sneaker which doesn't have the wide toe box. The Gaviotta 5 is much more like the Bondi 8 than the Bondi 9.

Its hurting my heel even when im just sitting. And it feels too bulky and heavy

This shoe was mistakenly labeled as W. It's not wide. It's narrow. Obviously, since it has been resent to several people, this size should have been checked.

I wear a 6.5 wide and I have heard great things about Hoka. When I ordered the 6.5 wide and they came, iI was excited. I tried the on and walked around the house, up and down stairs, sat down and my left foot was going to sleep. Disappointed they didn't work.

I finally caved and bought these. I started a job that involves standing on concrete all day. I have osteoarthritis in both knees and everyone swears by these for their cushioning. They definitely have plenty of cushion, but I am in agony at the end of the day because there isn’t enough stability. They pitch forward which has increased my knee pain. I am so mad that I wasted almost $200 on these.

these shoes caused me to go to PT they are not fit for wearing after 12 years of hoka this design is very not good
