I’ve been worrying hook up Bondi sneakers for 10+ years and they were never narrow or tight on me. The new Bondi nine feels a bit more narrow and shorter. I’m so bummed! That’s why I have to return these. I took them for a nice long run and had to wear really thin socks, and that still didn’t help. Usually I add my own thick soles on the bottom, but I couldn’t even do that with these. Great sneaker though I just had to go up a half a size!

Bondi is definitely on the narrower side compared to my usual Gaviota. Sadly I’m returning

Unfortunately the message mesh has changed in some of the Hoka sneakers and it's almost like they're stretching too much of the toe box in the same token through the insert and the insole it does not feel as cushioning as the older pairs did so that is rather disappointing and me on my feet all day at work I won't be able to tolerate these I've already tested on them in the house and it's not going to work I need to send them back thank you

The Bondi 9 style change didn't work for my width needs. This 9D Hoka Bondi 9 is tighter than my Bondi 8 D sneakers. I tried this 9D on late in the day, when my feet are at their widest. A smidge too tight, and I can''t risk they'd get better on an upcoming long trip with lots of walking planned. I own Bondi 8's, size 8.5D and 9D and they fit great. Style changes are always iffy in my experience. YMMV

Bondi 8 (size 7 wide women’s) for well for me for years. Bondi 9 (size 7 wide women’s) squeezed my foot on outer edge at ball of foot. Had to return shoes.

These seem like a soft comfortable shoe. I really liked the flow when I stepped, but they are way narrower than marked. I wear a 9W, ordered a 9W, and the toe box felt tight and cramped. I couldn't stand being in the shoe for more than a minute. I had to take it off. I tried a few times to really see if I could get used to it. I've had Hoka recommended to me many times. But in the end, this shoe is not right for me.

I read the reviews that the Bondi 9 was changed from the Bondi 7 but I got them, hoping for the best. The Bondi 7 wide had much more space in the front of the foot. Standing in them was uncomfortable overall.

These are too narrow! I ordered a D-Width and they were pinching my feet after 10mins of having them on. I have other Hokas in a D-width and my feet are almost swimming in them.

I’m an RN so as you imagine I’m on my feet all day. My back hurts mid shift everytime I wear these shoes. If you have a medium to high arch you may want to consider another shoe.

It was 8.5 wide. I do this because on leg swells so badly when im working. I loved my Bondi 7s , but the bonding 8 and 9 aren't the same and arent better. They hit to high in the back and have caused more footpain than ever before. Im on my feet 12hrs a night.

They felt good the first 3 days, then my back and feet started to hurt. I'm on my feet all day and good shoes are essential. I'm still in search of the right shoe for me.

I am a repeat Hoka buyer, but have never experienced this problem. While overall the width was fine, for my foot there was not enough HEIGHT in the toe box. It felt like my nails would all go through the top of the shoe. My last pair of Bondi style was a 7, and they were a great fit. I cannot justify the price on the off chance that they might stretch out enough to accommodate this problem. Hoka is my go-to brand so I will keep searching.

Version 9 is way narrower in an extra wide than the prior version in a wide. Very disappointing. I have been wearing Hokas for many years, way before they became popular. Started with the Cliftons but they became too narrow and not enough cushioning. Now the same is happening with the Bondis. I need the wide in the toe area due to bunions in both feet. Looks like I'll need to try a different brand.

I usually wear a Clifton. I wanted to try this Bondi out, because I haven't before. I am on my feet alot at work as a nurse, so I have been ordering 6.5 to help the swelling after the end of a 12 hour shift. Clifton 10 in size 6 worked for me. I was wondering if I sized too far up and my gate was becoming off. The Bondi 9 Wide in 6 feels very narrow and smaller.

it is a beautiful sneakers buy it needs more cushioning , once you have them on they are not comfortable at all. it feels like you are walking on hard floor , not for me.
