You really can't walk in this shoe because of it's high stack and low support. It didn't feel secure. Price is way too high.

I purchased this for my husband he always wore the Stinson 7 but they are too narrow now. Hoka was his favorite sneaker but after purchasing so many in the last year and having to return them all he doesn't even want to wear Hoka any longer and this Hoka Mafate X is no exception to the disappointment. It runs narrow across the toe bed and if he went up it would be too long Hoka needs to go back and make sneakers they way they use to quality they have gone downhill in their designs, the quality and the proper sizing and width. My husband doesn't have a wide foot at all and a D width in any other sneaker is plenty of room but not with Hoka's.

The bottom of the sneaker squeaks the toe box is tight very narrow. Hoka has become a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. This was my husband's favorite sneaker brand until the last couple of years they have gone downhill. The price has gone up and the quality has disappeared. My husband doesn't have a wide foot and always takes an 11 D width in all sneakers. These are very narrow and CHEAPLY MADE TO BOOT. SHAME ON HOKA!
