Retired my Clifton 9s after 700 miles and just got these. I’m not a shoe snob—I run about 15 miles a week and usually stick to one pair of shoes at a time. I just want something comfortable for 3+ mile runs. The biggest difference I noticed between the 9s and 10s is the fit. With the 9s, I had to go with the wide version to deal with the midfoot tightness. With the 10s, the regular fit is perfect—no need to size up or go wide. The drop feels just right, and overall, they feel a lot like my 9s in the best way. I’ve already put 15 miles on them in 3 days, and they’ve been amazing so far.

The wide was not enough wide. So had to get the Extra wide, which was so much better. Color is really good. Fits better.

Awesome shoe. A little more support and a little more comfortable than the Clifton 9, which was also an awesome shoe..

The size and fit is always spot on. The main reason why I continue to purchase from Zappos.

Speed walk 5 miles per day and had trouble finding shoes that don’t hurt my feet until these. Great fit and cushion. Perfect for my needs.

This shoe just felt big on me overall and I always take a size 13. It didn't have much lateral support and my feet felt like they were leaning in when walking. After a short walk, I started to feel some knee pain. It's a nice shoe, but I need more lateral support. So I am going to return them.

Most shoes eventually cause pain on the top of my foot. Running every day adds pressure and can be painful depending on the running shoe worn at the time. I have worn Brooks, Nike and now Hoka. I LOVE these shoes. I have worn them 4 days straight running on a treadmill and I do not have any pain. The ride is soft and supportive.

I bought this shoe in men's because I didn't like the colors for women. I wear an 8.5 in women's so ordered a 7.5 in men's. Perfect!

Worst sneaker purchase of my life. No fault to Hoka but their super cushy sole left me feeling off balance and non-grounded at all times, especially painful on my knees descending staircases. 1 month after wearing them indoors only the the sole tread came undone and was flopping around. I should have returned them then but instead I reglued the treads which came undone again in a few more months. There was no lateral support and being my right foot is slightly turned, my foot would roll outward causing pressure on my pinky toe causing great discomfort. I should mention I put Super Feet insoles for greater arch support. will never purchase Hoka again.

Far too narrow at mid foot, unwearable. I got 4e extra wide and still had an inch of foot overhanging the sole

I don't put on miles and miles running around in these trainers. I don't even run around the block. I'm that old guy you might see walking around the neighborhood with a pair of these on his feet. But I gotta tell you... these sneakers are glorious, to quote an old cliche, "they're like walking on a cloud". No kidding They're that comfortable. In fact, in all my years, I don't think I've owned a more comfortable pair of sneakers. Just sayin'.

These sneakers are true to size. They give you extra height because of their added cushion. They are comfortable.

Fantastic. I have gone through about 15 different pairs of shoes over the last couple months (Thanks Zappos for the excellent return policy) trying to find the right shoe. I am going through cancer treatment and am really sore. It’s been a challenge finding the right shoes. Wore these on a recent road trip with my wife and they were great. Walked 10 miles one day around town. FINALLY! Highly recommend.

I wanted to love this shoe but I returned these. Ordered size 13 4 E and they fit great but both heels were slipping when walking and no matter which lacing technique they still were slipping. I'm trying the Brooks GhostMax 2 to see if they fit better.

Buying this shoe was a shot in the dark for me. I have trouble getting well fitting shoes that accommodate orthotics and my long foot (one size longer that the other). This shoe is wonderful in all departments. It fits well; is as light as a feather; is wider across the toe box; and, in general, is a super walking shoe.

zappos is great this shoe is too just having to get a different size in the Hoka 10

Just now breaking them in. Seems like they will be fine. I still like the Clifton9 I wore for a year and still wear them. The style and look to me is better than the 10’s. Hopefully my opinion changes and they will get better as I break them in.

True to size with a nice large toe box for those who prefer it. Makes the shoe look a little clunky, but they feel great. Used them for a 4 mile walk on the day I got them and they did not cause any problems other than a relatively minor one: I had to keep reminding myself to pick up my feet because the cushioning in the sole is so thick that I would drag my sole if I didn't. Easy to get used to though in exchange for some great comfort.

I haven’t had them two months and the sole is flaking off and falling apart. Super comfy and super disappointing.

My first Hokas, and after a few weeks I felt like my left shoe was leaning in. I started to notice some knee pain after, and I now notice a significant tilt inwards on that one shoe. I started reading other reviews and have found that the same thing happened to some other people. I like the way the shoe wears otherwise, and the right shoe feels great. Sounds like there is a QA issue with these shoes having high consistent quality.

Shoe fit me fine. I like the style as well but I had to return them as the sole was high too tall. I could not walk comfortably in this shoe. I felt like I was about to tip over if I leaned backwards. Lower the height of the sole about an inch and it is a great show.
