Torins were always my favorite Altra. But now, the toebox is waaaay tooooo narrow and hits my bunion hard. Sigh. I have to find a new shoe.

I've worn Altras for years but it seemed like they changed things up a few years back and they were smaller and narrow, which negates the wide toe box feature. I figured I would try again. I have Hallux Rigidus and it's so difficult to find shoes that aren't painful. These come close except for the top portion where the laces are, it always hits right at the joint and is painful. (All shoes that have this feature are painful) Not Altras fault, just my foot issue. I just need a no lace shoe. All in all it's cute and comfortable!

I had high hopes for this shoe but sadly it’s not one of my favorite Altras. The material on top of the shoe is made different and my big toes keep catching on it. I’ve adjusted and tightened the laces but it doesn’t seem to help.

I’m new to this brand and am now a convert. The toe box is amazing. Comfortable for long days standing as well as long walks.

Love these altras. Plenty of cushion and color combo is catchy. Very comfortable for any activity.

I loved the way they fit. They just have a stain on the left shoe - a brown stain on the toe and on the side.

The toe box is wide enough for my slightly narrow feet (wider forefoot and narrow ankle). The heel slipped, so I did a heel lock with the laces. But the fabric on the inside of the heel is very rough and abrasive. I keep getting blisters all over my heel. I don’t think I can keep wearing them.

Shoe is awesome! My 6th pair!

These were recommended by a podiatrist -- and they feel life-changing. The way they support my feet, I can feel correction all the way up into my hips. I have never experienced a shoe this way. Incredibly comfortable and stabilizing.

Absolutely in love with these! Has really helped my plantar fasciitis in a way the Hoka never did. I’ve been wearing them so much for months that I back for a second color! Try it!

I agree with other reviews. This version of Altra Torin is most definitely more narrow than my old Torin Plush. Wore them around the house, on and off, for a couple of weeks. I just don't love them. Tongue is too long, digging into my ankle. The arch hits my foot in a weird spot. Decided my feet felt better after I took the shoes off. Had to return.

I really wanted to love these! The concept of no heel rise is just smart. But the lack of a good arch support was a deal breaker for me.

This latest model of Torin fits VERY differently than the prior models, particularly in the width. I would no longer consider this a wide toe box. This would have been my third pair of Torins...but they are so tight they are going back. Very disappointed.
