I had really high hopes for these shoes. Unfortunately, they feel really cheap and after 1 hour they wore a blister on my heel. They were not very comfortable and I could not wear them for more than an hour.

Per other reviews and suggestions I ordered a half size bigger since they said "runs small" tried on, feels great but I feel like I should have just got my normal size and been fine. I did try on at the end of the day when feet are the biggest.

Love these sneakers! This is my 4th pair and will not be the last. The toe bed is shaped like my foot. The support is perfect for walking. I learned that certain styles of Altra have different shaped toe beds so now I am careful when I order. I look at the bird's eye view of photo.

The comfort and fit of the Altra Fwd Via is astounding. The shape of the shoe conforms perfectly to the shape of the foot, especially the toe bed. The sole support is firm but cushiony. Once you discover Altra, there will be few other choices.

I love these shoes! They are lighter than Hokas. They give almost corrective balance. I love them. Highly recommend! I 6ft tall size 11 shoe. I could not go down in size. This is my true size.

Size and fit good. Color attractive.

Not bad, but since they're no improvement (for my feet) over last year's Via Olympus, I'm sending them back. They're a bit stiff in the uppers, especially around my pinky toe.

Overall felt decent, but couldn't get the laces tied to relieve pressure around the widest part of my foot.

True to size and comfortable but truly wildly squeaky out of box- I questioned whether it was a factory defect?

Just very stiff and wasn’t comfortable with my arthritis. Toe box advertised as wider than many shoes and maybe getting a larger size would help.

Wanted to love since I have arthritis a big toe and midfoot from an injury and surgery. Had on 15 minutes and got severe pain in inner arch of bad foot. Have to return

The shoe was amazing for fit but the insides started breaking down after 2 months. For a shoe that is listed for $160 this shouldn't happen. Thankfully Zappos allowed me to return them to get something else.
