These are nice shoes. I didn't realize (my own fault - not the fault of the seller) that they were trail shoes, but I have found them to be very comfortable and fine for wearing on the road.

Great shows but size up: These look and feel great. I would recommend sizing up though. They run very narrow. I wear an 8.5 in asics and needed a 9.

Different Style: These Asics run large compared to ALL my others in the past so not 100% happy. In addition, the bottoms are almost like a hiking boot but OK for walking. Would never wear them on a tennis court. Do wish they would keep making the same shoes & not change every few years!

Runs small: Fine shoes, run smaller than others I tried of the same brand so I wish I had sized up and got the wide. So far I am happy with the quality though.

Run Small: They are comfortable and I loved the colors but my toes hit the top. I consistently wear a size 8 but these were too small.

Inconsistant sizing and quality control: I have always worn a 9 1/2 wide in the venture style so that is what I purchased a few months ago. They were very tight on me, but I had a family member who wears an 8 narrow and needed some new shoes , they tried them on and they fit perfectly!! So I ordered a 10wide and this pair is a tad big which I would expect from going up a size. I wish you all would do a better job with quality control and making sure all the sizes were correct. Aside from the sizing issue these shoes have been and still are great.

The size and fit were fine but there was virtually no support in the insole. In previous pairs, arch and insole were excellent with good support and cushion. These had virtually nothing.

Asics have always had great fit, but this particular model was quite odd. the Medium width seems as if it was a wide width. It was disappointing that I had to send them back.

Feel shorter related to toe forced to curl upward: I have about 20 pairs of Asics including 3 Gel-Venture 7 that are my favorite style. These were shorter than my other shoes making the 7.5 feel like a 7. This happened with the TriNoosa as well, I've noticed the shoes with the toe curling upward tend to feel smaller. Speaking of which I hadn't noticed these had the toe curling upward thing when I orders them, don't like that makes me get toe cramps to force my toes in that direction.

The size was actually correct, I think, but the GEL-Venture shape has changed since the 8 version. I've tried both 9 and 10 in my usual size and they feel a tiny bit short - though I think that relates to the shape and padding of the heel cup - but way wider. The shape of the toe box is different also. I used to love these shoes but the newer versions just don't fit correctly for me. I've had to send them right back.

I was looking for a trail shoe. I ordered size 9 (instead of my usual 8.5 in Asics) based on what other reviews said, and that was a good call. The main issue was that there is no heel cushioning in these shoes, and the shoes feel like they tilt backward so that toes are elevated and most of the weight is on the heel.

For me these were an odd fit. The footbed pressed up on my outside arch throwing my foot off a bit. The tongue of the shoe is really long and was uncomfortable while walking. Lastly, my foot did not breathe well in the shoe. My feet were very hot in them.
