Great shoes, my son loves them. Because they come up higher on the ankle, they are a little tougher to put on for him, which he doesn't love compared with his 1440's - still great shoes. The sole is solid rubber, not the foam from the 1440's and other NB offerings, so wears much tougher than other Fresh Foam shoes without a full rubber sole.

My son with wide feet is super picky about how his shoes fit. Even the slightest bit of tightness or a seam he can feel is a deal-breaker for him. No complaints about these shoes, even after 3 days walking around Disneyland with 30,000 steps every day.
