Besides the obvious deep cushion for the foot, all of the materials that cradle the foot on top and on the sides are soft. My only concern would be the tendency for the shoe to give when I pronate on my left foot.

The shoe has fit perfectly. The soft foam does tend to sink a lot. I overpronate on my left foot so I will add the Kayano shoe before long. I just came off a double hip replacement and have been using the Nimbus in my first two months of walking outdoors. The cushioning was much needed while I recovered my strength. My per-minute mile is now less than 10% slower than the recommended length of time for my training route.

I liked the shoes very much but.the sneakers squeaked really loudly on my hardwood floors. It was umbearable.

I bought it to maximize my cushioning for rehab after hip replacements since I do a lot of walking (15 to 30 miles/week). These feel like walking on a 2 inch foam carpet.

I love these shoes but the 25’s were much cushier. I don’t understand why they change shoes that are perfect. My main issue is how long these shoes last. I only get 300 miles on these shoe!

Have been running in the Nimbus for 20 years. 40-50 miles per week. Heavier runner. Tend to have a long life and the cushion I need.

Cushion made on heavenly clouds! Not exagerating...I have ran many many miles in NB Fresh Foam V3 and believed NB were softer than Hoka's Stinson 5 & 6. THEN this experience with Asics Gel Nimbus 27 proved to be a cushioning level in league of its own. WOW....cushy, light and responsive. I normally run in Men size 9.5 but had to size-down 1/2 size and the 9's fit perfectly. Best road shoes ever! I highly recommend this running shoe and paired mine with Xpand laces for a superior fit. You will LOVE these.

Actual tread on shoe gets thinner every year.Tread is only strips that don't even cover the bottom of the shoe.

I loved the fit and feel of my Nimbus 26. After 400 miles it was time to start breaking in another pair. The NImbus 27 have an even better fit and feel. Thanks Asics.

Incredibly comfy. I cant even tell Im wearing anything. Only reason not 5 stars is because they are kinda goofy looking. That huge white puff on each sneaker looks like strapped two mattresses to my feet. But comfort over style.
