What on earth, Asics? The Cumulus was my go-to for years, but both the 26 and the 27's have been real disappointments. Gone is the smooth, cushioned ride of the 25's and the useful slip loop on the heel (which WAS restored on the 27's, to be fair), and that thin tongue does NOTHING to prevent lace-bite. I used to be able to stand all day in my Cumulus without discomfort, but an hour in the 27's and my toes and feet started to tingle. I really hope the next version is better.

So wide and round in the front of the shoe. Looked down and they looked huge. I returned and ordered a couple of the 26's.

Very comfortable and supportive for high impact group fitness classes and strength work. Great looking too!

I have been purchasing the Asic cumulus sneakers now for a couple years. A very cushioned sole works well with the arthritis in my feet. I would have preferred a gray sneaker, but it was either white or bright colors. But it’s all about the comfort and these shoes have comfort.

Gel-Cumulus 27 10N is wider in areas of arch and heal than the year-old Gel Cumulus that I have been wearing; midway between the old 10 N and my 10 M water resistant Asics. Also, this new version lacks padding in the tongue. I need a new pair. I’ve worn these new ones hiking twice with thick socks and they will have to do for a 10 N. I’ll keep the older pair for regular use and wear out the new. Please keep the N sizing!

I love Asics, and although the styles have changed over the years, this style works perfectly. It is my second pair this season.

Arch in right shoe did not feel high enough and this pair felt a little larger on my foot than the other pair

This is a great shoe. It’s actually not as wide in the toe box as the previous year’s shoe and that’s a good thing for me.

I really want navy athletic shoes to wear with my jeans. Right now, Zappos doesn’t have any true navy in the styles I like, so I thought that maybe some red-orange shoes would look good. The problem is that these aren’t really red-orange as seen on my Mac. They’re more like a mid-tone pastel peach. I’m returning them because of the color. It would be nice if Brooks, Asics, and all the athletic shoe companies would always have true navy shoes with limited accent colors, because navy blends well with blue jeans. Navy blue shoes are a sophisticated option for athletic shoes with blue jeans, because they won't clash with the topwear, etc.

This shoe fits great and is extremely comfortable. Makes my foot feel supported all around.
