Compared to the previous model, toe box slightly less roomy on the top mesh. Just slightly less bounce/thickness in mid-sole from previous model. Still, it is the best I have found that provides structured toe box and full-bottom cushion from heel to toe.

Runs small went a size up but very comfortable, would definitely recommend this shoe

I love the look of these shoes. They're very comfortable, and the grip and tread worked perfectly in Moab on some casual walks/hikes. I am admittedly not a serious trail runner, so my review is based on occasional outdoorsy pursuits and also for the LOOK. I find New Balances fit me true to size- I'm a 7.5 and fit in a 7.5. I have feet that are just shy of being wide, and these are comfortable. I found the fabric to be comfortable and flexible, and the toe protection is good on rocky trails.

Run small in the toe box... usual size is a 9.5 and my toe touches end with no sock on.... plan to reorder in a 10 and see how that goes? Maybe also a smidge narrower in the toe box compared to 1080's.... maybe cuz the toe area is like leather/reinfirced more than the 1080.

I really enjoy this shoe, it goces stability and comfort like no other trail shoe. It has enough bounce to push you forward and the lightness to give you freedom every step of the way, just as running in any trail does to my heart

The outsole is grippy and i really like the cushioning! Suitable for long trails and hybrid.

Solid beginner trail shoe for non-technical trail or hybrid running! Certainly a step up from the v8s! Tough to get through rugged terrain and steep climbs / downhills.

I really like it, it's easy to walk because the shoe wide.. I'm looking for one more in the future.

Very comfortable and fly. Most of all comfortable I moved to NYC and walk for blocks. I can only do that in New Balances even converted my husband!
