I have the exact same size and model of shoe from 1-2 years ago that fit just fine. This new pair is too tight, and the larger/higher souls are not good for standing for any length of time. I have to return them.

A short but wide front. The sneaker felt as if I were wearing a size 13D.

The size was OK (a bit tight for 13N, but I think it would have broken in to fit well). The real problem with the Fresh Foam design, overall, is that there isn't enough "there", there. It is a much less substantial structure than I've had with other New Balance products, and it just doesn't feel sturdy enough. I'm 6', 220lb (and 87 years old!), so I need a strong shoe to help keep my balance and gait going. Net - I'll not go for FF again, but will get my next NB shoes from Z's - you people do nice work!
I'd also recommend:
Don't know - I've been in NB for years now and see no reason to change.

This order was a mess. Looks like someone returned & you sent me as previous customer/customers returned. Last time to order from you.

The nice thing, historically, about New Balance is the wider forefoot. But these shoes are much snugger than previous pairs/versions. I don't knowif sizing has changed, if D width is no longer what it used to be, but these are very disappointing.

The move to the marshmallow heel seems industry wide for some odd reason. These shoes are supposed to be for pronation correction, but if the shoe has a marshmallow heel there is no support! I felt the ligaments in my foot stretch and had some heel pain., which reminded me of a past plantar fasciitis episode. It's almost comical that in the past couple years, heel and foot support have gone away in favorof squishy round hells that offer little support.

The shoes arrived well worn and used!! Their was not even tissue paper or cardboard inserts in the sneakers. They had scuff marks on the toes, laces tied tight, shoes bent upward. They looked like they belonged at a second hand store. I was shocked

I don't know how this shoe has so many positive reviews - up until I bought these shoes, I was a "New Balance for life" person, as I have been wearing New Balance shoes for many years now and love them. But these shoes are incredibly uncomfortable, there is a hard plastic "cap" over the toebox of the shoe, similar to steel toe shoes, and it presses down on your big toe/ nail every time you take a step. I couldn't walk more than 100 feet without pain, much less run in these. So disappointed - the generic pair of shoes I bought from Walmart for $20 to do yard work are more comfortable than these! They do look good, but that's the only positive about them.

This shoe feels mushy, unresponsive, wobbly, and is not a good running shoe. It works better as a walking shoe, but not great. The 880 basically feels like a less responsive and stable version of the 1080.

I didn't like the thicker sole on the 880 V15's. Tried wearing them for about 3 weeks had pains in my lower shin/upper ankle on both legs. Heel material is very soft & tears easily. Very disappointed with these V15's from New Balance.
