whole style is great and it's nice to have a color other than black or white in 4E widths, the width at the base of the laces is not wide enough. I haven't found a 4E NB style that fits me in a couple years. NB used to be my go to brand.

I like the previous design better. The top lace holes are angles and theres a lace holder in the middle to keep the tongue from moving. Theyre comfortable but dont look as cool.

This running shoe is a spinoff of its older 840 line. The silhouette is just a bit narrower than the uber chunky and foamy newer models. Ive actually gotten used to the more cushy and foamy recent models, though the slightly firmer feeling lasts on this 880 are comfortably familiar. Depends on how retro you want to be!

shoes fit very tight and I do not have wide feet. They are comfortable and I do not have foot/leg fatigue when I'm on my feet all day.

I ordered the wide having read comments from other buyers. They were spot on that ordering wider than normal is the way to go. These shoes are extremely comfortable and I think the "garter snake" color looks really cool.

Very comfortable for all day wear. The foam midsole is springy, yet stable. The upper feels slightly narrow midfoot compared to the v14s. Will be buying again.

This shoe has continued to remain high-quality, stylish, and extremely comfortable. On the white shoes, which I purchased, I really appreciate the new black tongue and shoe strings, gives the shoe a younger look.

The size was OK (a bit tight for 13N, but I think it would have broken in to fit well). The real problem with the Fresh Foam design, overall, is that there isn't enough "there", there. It is a much less substantial structure than I've had with other New Balance products, and it just doesn't feel sturdy enough. I'm 6', 220lb (and 87 years old!), so I need a strong shoe to help keep my balance and gait going. Net - I'll not go for FF again, but will get my next NB shoes from Z's - you people do nice work!
I'd also recommend:
Don't know - I've been in NB for years now and see no reason to change.

This shoe feels mushy, unresponsive, wobbly, and is not a good running shoe. It works better as a walking shoe, but not great. The 880 basically feels like a less responsive and stable version of the 1080.

Great looking and super comfortable. Really nice shoes that fit to size. Nice materials and well constructed. I have big feet (14 2E) and these shoes feel great. I use them for walking, light exercise, and just as a lifestyle shoe. Running days are long past so cannot comment on how they perform in that capacity. Nice cushy feel to the soles but rigid enough to be supportive. Love them and will buy more 880’s in different colors in the near future.
