Much too small for size. For other companies' shoes, I take an 8 wide. This is a 8-1/2 wide and scrunched my toes together until one of them bled.

Ive found the shoe to be bulky, heavy and stiff.

When I first saw the shoe I was expecting them to be heavy and bulky, but once I put them on I was completely wrong. These shoes were so light and comfortable. I truly wanted to test them out so I did some road running and treadmill running(still want to try them on a trail run but its too muddy for white shoes). These were great. Not sure I would run any long distance but 4 miles or less these shoes are great. Overall not the most fashionable shoe but at my age I do prefer comfort over style

I've worn various Brooks Sneakers in the past (Ghost, Adrenaline GTS and Glycerine). I've run 2 half marathons, and dog walk regularly as a side hustle. My feet tend to roll inwards, and I found that I did not have that problem with the Ghost Max. They kept me stable on the treadmill and are going to be my new go-to for dog walking. They have a thicker sole, which might benefit newer runners or those with weak knees. If you prefer a closer-to-the-ground feel when you run this might not be the best option for you. The leather material was also a HUGE plus! I have white sneakers I wear quite a bit but always get dirty. These were super easy to clean! I would recommend sizing a full size up. I went up a half size and my lbig toe was just touching the front of the shoe. Overall, I will be using these as my daily walkers!

Finally a Winter shoe made by Brooks. I worn Ghost Max for 2 years now. Best Shoes I owned. And I owned them all. Now in leather game changing !

Comfortable.

Size runs small, too short.I purchased these size 12 wide shoes for my husband as he wears a size 12 wide. He attempted to wear them for a day. They were tight when he put them on but he decided to wear them a day to see if they would stretch out. They did not. They seemed wide enough but they were too short. We had to find someone that wears a size 11 wide to give them to.

I needed a air of comfortable shoes for work that looked like work shoes and were leather instead of fabric. I love my brooks sneakers so I thought these would be great following in the footsteps of the regular Ghost 17 Sneakers. So far they are pretty good, but they are lacking compared to the regular Ghost sneakers. First off, they have a smaller fit. The Ghost 17 that I wear are a size 10 and fit perfect, but these Ghost Max L in size 10 seem like they are 1/2 size smaller. I have never have to order a size 10.5 in any sneaker or shoe so you might want to order them in a 1/2 larger size. They are comfortable, but they are not as comfortable as the regular Ghost 17. I believe the only difference should be the outer material and not the size, fit and comfort. I would recommend, but Brooks can do better.

They feel so comfy when on your feet all day at work. Highly recommend!

I wear size 11 but I had to get 11 1/2 on this one. Im on my feet 8-9 hours a day and Good they have great cushioning and less fatigue.

I love the look of the shoe, but I wish it was more snug like my Ghost 16s.

A very comfortable shoe. The clean & simple look is pleasing. No crazy colors or design accents. I am very impressed with the fit & support I have with this shoe.
