Customer Reviews On Cloud 6 Waterproof

This was my 3rd or 4th pair of On cloud(s). This was my first pair of On cloud WP (waterproof). I think that they’re very similar to the (non waterproof) but that’s what makes them different. I don’t love the way that the WPs feel compared to the Non waterproof. But they are still comfortable. And I have tested their (waterproofness) and they are excellent for keeping your feet dry. They’re better than my duck boots and every other WP shoe or boot. My issue w them is what ever it is that makes them waterproof it makes the tounge stiffer and while they’re still breathable for waterproof footwear they can get damp feeling. I just don’t think that I need a waterproof shoe and that’s my issue. If you are looking for or need a waterproof shoe. Then these are a good option. Im not going to say that they “run smaller or larger” because after wearing them for a few weeks they will BREAK IN like all shoes. But since they are made out of a different material than other On’s they can feel more like a hiking shoe. Long story short I wear size 8.5 & 9 in men’s ONs and they’re both pretty comfortable to me. But in the WP I would prefer the 9 over the 8.5 because of the material. They’re nice shoes and they are comfortable after a few days…I think they’re for a certain type or person who needs a good waterproof shoe, I don’t. I’ll add photos of my previous Ons and the WP Ons and maybe you can see what I mean about the material being stiff. Also most people are going to probably want to order at least a 1/2 size larger than they normally would, just for convenience and comfort. Thanks for reading, I hope this helps someone.

I've owned various pairs on ON sneakers for over 5 years now. I can without a doubt say these are not only the most uncomfortable ONs i've ever had but they are most likely the most uncomfortable sneakers i've ever had. They are extremely stiff and very difficult to get on. Maybe they are designed to be more stiff because they are waterproof but i've had waterproof sneakers from other brands and they are much for comfortable then these new ON Cloud 6s. If you are used to sliding into ON sneakers DON'T get these. I'm returning them to get something else.

For a size 10 Medium, the shoe ran smaller in all dimensions... even hard to get your foot in and out. Very firm exterior material making it more like a hiking boot.

After reading reviews … I decided to order a size larger. I normally wear a size 12 … I ordered a size 13. This worked out perfectly! Nice shoe, good fit and very comfortable. Just letting you know

Love the look and stability of these shoes.

I was a little hesitant to get these because people complained they are stiff. Yes they’re a little stiff at first bc they’re made from different materials. That’s what makes them water proof. Super comfortable still and I can already feel them breaking in. These are my third pair of on clouds and I’m pretty happy with them

My husband could not even get his foot in the shoes. He has high arches which may be the problem. He has another pair pair of On Clouds that fit fine.

Right foot was quarter size too large. Heels feel low compared to first generation waterproof.

Very narrow with a small toe box

The shoe was very stiff. Definitely waterproof, but it was so heavy and was not breathable to the point that my feet were getting more wet from my own sweat than my other sneakers were from the rain.

Was not true to size at all

I have an earlier pair of Waterproof On-Clouds that sadly had issues with the glue coming apart on the heal after only a couple of years. So I thought maybe the new On-Clouds would be better. Unfortunately, the Waterproof On-Cloud 6's are absolutely awful. Look cool, but feel terrible to the point of unusable, and I tried. They feel like whomever designed them didn't take the top of your foot into account. The stiffness and pressure from the tongue seams feel like someone put two hards sticks against the top of my foot making it very uncomfortable to walk, stand.. etc. I couldn't get them off my feet fast enough. I did not have this issue with the previous design, which was of the same size and fit. I'm skeptical the pair I received had a manufacturing error. I think this design is just bone-headed. Checking reddit, I see a lot of complaints about the comfort level of this particular shoe, so this isn't anything new. Wish I'd checked before purchasing. Oh-well. Back ya go awful shoes!

The soles are separating after a few months, and they've squeaked from day one. Not worth the price.

Big fan of OnCloud, waterproof come in handy for traveling

Very comfortable and fit as true.

Just a little tight I just need to ware them. Zappos does great with quick shipping!

Best shoe I can't stop wearing

I am a mail carrier and I am a big believer in the 5s but while they are very breathable and light, wet feet are a problem in even dewy grass. I bought the 6 which has a similar body/lightness. 1) definitely fit a little more rigidly than the 5 and much less breathable but I find it to be the change in material which is also waterproof. The sturdiness and wearability of the material is worth the exchange and for me has not at all been uncomfortable. Highly recommend these shoes.

Shoes are great! Arch support is perfect compared to other brands. Have officially moved to On Clouds based on the arch support. Like the no tying of the shoes! Just slip on.

I love my new iCloud’s. The look and feel great!
