I love this shoe. It is roomier and more cushioned than last model. Definitely recommend!

I loved the Glycerin 21s! I switched to them when I got annoyed with newer versions of the Ghost. But now, Brooks has continued to modify the Glycerin, and this new version is way too cushiony and unstable. Straight out of the box, I couldn't feel my feet relative to the ground, and I had problems with my ankles walking to the point I had to wear an ankle brace. Two months after buying these shoes, I had to buy something else. It was a huge disappointment especially since these shoes are close to $200.

I like the cushion. Not as well as the Hoka Bondi but felt great. Use my shoes for work where I’m on my feet all day. But, these Brooks bend too much forward that aggravates my arthritis is my big toe. Too much pivoting and I cannot wear this style.

Shoe fit ok except for lots of slip in the heel. Also, the end of one of the shoe lases was frayed.

The Glycerin 22 are shorter than normal. I had to buy a half size larger than I usually do.

I’ve been wearing the glycerin gts for years. This model has zero stability and wears down after about a month or two of light use on the treads. They feel OK at first but quickly the foam no longer provides cushioning. The price is outrageous for lasting no more than two months. Quality has definitely gone down.

I have worn Brooks Ghost running shoes for many years. A friend recommended the Glycerin running shoes. These shoes feel comfortable for about four miles of walking, and then they begin to hurt my toes and the bottom of my feet burn. I'm returning to the Brooks Ghost shoes.

I have worn Brooks for years and love them. Never have I had such a hard time with the fit. Glycerin 21 was perfect and so cushy. These are not the same sizing and comfort. Brooks has messed with their sizing. I do love the pull tab on the heel .
I'd also recommend:

Prefer Glycerin GTS 21. New model seems a bit shorter and my big toe feels like it is being squeezed. Not a fan.

Brooks has always been my go-to brand for dark blue shoes, as they pair perfectly with jeans. However, I recently noticed that the insoles lack sufficient cushioning. It’s almost as if I can feel the air pockets when I walk, which is quite distracting. Despite this issue, the overall quality of the shoes is commendable.

The sides of the shoe that come up to the ankle bone are much higher than previous Brooks running shoes I’ve owned. They were uncomfortable for that reason the shoes are made well definitely cushy just not a good fit for my feet which seemed to be nearly impossible to find a good fit. My original purchase of Brooks adrenaline 19 GTS is the best fitting shoe I’ve ever had. I wish Brooks would start producing that series again the 19 GTS adrenaline

I purchased these based upon numerous reviews that said they had excellent arch support. Unfortunately they didn’t come close to reaching my very high arches. When I replaced the insoles with my own the footbed was not deep enough to accommodate. Otherwise it would have been a nice shoe. I wore Brooks Ghost for years until they changed the design and they became extremely uncomfortable for me.

I ordered my size in a Wide. This was my first pair of Brooks and the size was correct, however, it did not fit my left foot properly and that is the one I struggle with. So, I have to return them. I did like the colorway, but sadly it did not fit that foot well. Also, the tongue was not sized up properly for wide as you could see my socks on the sides.

I had foot surgery a couple months ago and have a plate and some screws in there now. I needed a shoe that would accommodate for having hyper mobility in my foot joints. The GTS version of this shoe is really great with helping stabilize my feet! I also have poor balance and I think it also helps with that. I also got these in a wide and the toe box is appropriately accommodating!

Does not feel like a wide fit. Heel support is only around edge - not solid support. Won't purchase Brooks again.

I have Ariel, Adrenaline, Adduction shoes, but I am planning to buy more Glycerin. I have 2 pairs, and absolutely love them. So comfortable. Great support and stability.
There is a HUGE problem, though. My podiatrist said I need wide shoes, and Brooks has very few styles in wide.
If I want black, I'm in luck. But if I want colorful, pretty shoes, there's not much to choose from.
A recent ad for new Glycerin colors got me in the mood to shop, but NOT ONE of the colors came in wide. Brooks missed selling me more shoes. I just came into some money and would have bought at least 2 pairs, if they came in wide.
I've worn Brooks for years, but I've asked multiple times for more choices in wide widths. I currently have 8 pairs of Brooks shoes. I have been a loyal customer; where's YOUR loyalty to me?

Shoe narrower than expected. I wear an 1 1 women's in every shoe I own, and this shoe was tight. Uncomfortable in the heel area of the shoe. I have returned this shoe.

I have worn the glycerin, and glycerin GTX, since glycerin 18. Those were very comfortable. The glycerin 22s have a very uncomfortable, bulky cuff around the ankle just above the heel. They were not comfortable at all, and I put them on and took them off immediately. I hope that they will reduce that cuff to something more comfortable like the previous shoes. I could compare the 18 through 22! And the design has changed dramatically. I hope they can fix this, otherwise I will not be able to wear a glycerin. And I do love the past versions, comfort and style.

These shoes are amazing! If youre a road runner on concrete roads they provide the ultimate support and cushion. Ive been calling them my air bag shoes. Very impressed with the fit and feel. They are a little fluffy than the Adrenalines but Im 41 and need a little more support now.
